I can't say because I don't even remember my dreams most of the time.

I do have reoccuring dreams of finding secret rooms in places I used to live or the black power ranger and I sitting at a table, and he keeps asking me, "What is it?" I never have any idea what he's talking about.

Businessman and politician sound OP AF. No one is gonna oppose anything you do? Even if you become a monopoly?

Athlete sounds like it wouldn't last long. Body would probably be ravaged in a couple years.

Scientist sounds cool, but the general populace hates scientist and would be against anything you tried to do, prob. Then comes the government regulations and you probably can't get any funding.

Doctor and professor sound weak AF. You could very well end up teaching/saving very evil people.

Artist doesn't sound too bad. I'd probably pick that.

Tifa is amazing. She's the reason I love FF7. I find her easier to empathize with. Her backstory is much more thorough than a lot of the other characters and her reactions are very normal/understandable.

Since I played FF7 so late, Aerith's you-know-what didn't surprise me. But I was not prepared for Cloud's promise or the Nibelheim incident. I thought they were all just fun little story-telling things, but repairing Cloud's mind tied all of the events together in such a nest fashion. And the music when the reveal happened and Tifa's excitement when she/we learn the truth, incredible. Just going through the game again and looking at things from Tifa's POV makes it even better.

Tales of the Abyss is probably my favorite Tales game, but I've definitely put the most hours into Symphonia.

I like Aerith and Tifa. Aerith is an important lesson. Sometimes someone important comes into your life, and whether you like it or not, one day they no longer will be. I think loss is something people will always struggle with.

My sister let me borrow her PS4.


I'm only 16 hours in. Just finished chapter 8 (MMORPG stuff in sector 5) and starting chapter 9 (the route before Wall Market, I guess?).

I really like it so far. The weapon upgrade stuff seems really cool. Not sure how I feel about materia not birthing more materia when mastered (but they have less levels now and are super easy to level, so maybe that would've been OP). Also, the game gave me like 3 Lightning materia? I think it was prep for the Airbuster or something, but it was kinda ridiculous.

I think Tifa is by far the most fun to play. Aerith and Barret are probably the least fun. I don't know though. Everyone feels so sluggish. The enemies are zipping around like crazy, and I'm just trying to focus fire one down. Aerith would be fun if it didn't feel like the enemies only focused on whoever I was controlling (seriously, that arcane ward skill is cool AF, but the enemy always hounds me out of the AoE).

As for the new story stuff, I don't really care for a lot of it. That Roche guy seems really out of place. Everyone talks pretty normal, but he's too eccentric. Just doesn't feel right. Some of the new stuff like the flying invisible cloths and the robed reunion dudes in Midgar intrigue me a little. I thought it was strange Tifa didn't talk more about Marco.

The order in which details are revealed changed too. Not sure how I feel about it (such as Cloud remembering his promise to Tifa randomly during a mission with Biggs and Wedge rather than in the original when Tifa was calling out Cloud for leaving). Also, the part where Cloud was going to kill Johnny and Tifa later confessed that he was scaring her, HE SCARED ME TOO. WTF, CLOUD? JUST GONNA EXECUTE A DUDE RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER.

Also, I don't know if it's just me, but there's a huge contrast in the interactions between Cloud/Aerith vs Cloud/Tifa. With Aerith, he's very sarcastic and playful (I like a lot of their new interactions/dialogue). With Tifa, he's characteristically serious and uncharacteristically very sweet a lot of the time. I like the interactions with Tifa, but they feel odd. It seems like it'd be easier for her to open up if he's sweet to her all the time. The banter with Barret has been great. Lots of sarcasm there, so Cloud's relationship with Tifa must be the anomaly.

Anywho, just some thoughts. I have to be up for work tomorrow, so I probably won't be able to play for a while. I'll probably just be thinking about the game all day.

idk, man. I'm really bad at following a schedule. I don't really follow a routine. I just do whatever I feel like doing in the moment. It's probably why my sleep schedule is so awful.
