Longest Relationship

Applies to both marriage and normal relationships, past or ongoing ones.

4 years and a bit more so far in my case, longest excluding that one was 1 year flat. What about the rest of CEmen?

Heya, I'll be going to the US for the first time next month (Miami) and i will most likely strike a convo with a local or 2 during my stay.

Is it safe to casually talk about politics? Like Gun Freedom/Control, Red/Blue parties such? Or should i just avoid those topics and talk about something else?

May not be your case, but for a lot of people, men and women, the "i would love to BUT i'm busy with my work/my phd/ my summer/my whatever" is 100% bullshit. it's an excuse to avoid. if someone is interested, they make time for whatever or whomever they are interested in. Like jeffhardyboys said, find a new one. I think maybe you missed the signals back in May and hung on the the thought that "maybe later!".
This. I would suggest doing it since the risk is pretty low on this.

If she ghosts you, you just move one
If she says she's still busy with her PDH stuff, you just move on
If none of those happen you just get back in touch.

There is very little to lose so yeah, do it

TopicShould i tell my GF that i go for a coffee with female friends sometimes?

Been on a 3-year relationship with this girl and everything has been great so far. We are both kind of social so we got a fair share of friends on each of our sides and we are both very communicative as well and that has been a key aspect in our relationship

I work at an University (Not teaching tho) and due to some reasons i have made quite a few female friends/acquaintances in these years, mostly between the age of 20 and 22 (Im 29, my girl's 23) and there are sometimes when i come across one of them on campus and we usually grab a coffee and have a quick 15-20 minute talk.

All the girls i know are aware i got a girl (some of them even got a guy) and we treat each other as normal friends, but the thing is i have never told my girl that i usually grab coffee with a girl or 2 that i know in here sometimes (She is aware i got plenty of female friends here and she is ok with that, but I have never told her i do the coffee/drink thing)

Should i be upfront with her or just stay silent on this one? Im perfectly fine with her, the thing about having plenty of female friends is mostly because i was a late Bloomer (I only started having good luck with women when i hit the age of 25) and its kind of cool to have quite a few female friends while you also got a girl, i gotta admit.

Im just not sure whether to tell her about this or not. There is nothing wrong but she may get upset that i never told her about this if she evers finds out by herself.

Trip to India

You suddenly win a contest you didnt even enter and you are granted a 14-day trip to India with all the expenses paid by the company, including food, viatics, 4/5 start hotel accomodation and everything, you wouldnt have to pay anything at all except for souvernirs, the company will also talk with your school/workplace so you are also given paid-leave during that time or a fair extension for your homework and school duties in case you still study.

The downside? Having to deal with all the third-world situations and reality in India itself you are probably not used to at all

Would you accept it?

Lying aint good man. Sooner or later all the truth will be revealed, one way or another

Now you may think "Ok, i lied about having a dog, its not much of a big deal" which in some way could be true, you didnt commit a crime or anything like that, but women are kinda special (Not precisely in the good way) when it comes to trust and even something as innofensive as lying about not having a dog can turn them off pretty easily.

You better come across with a pretty good excuse or be completely honest about not having a dog. If she finds out by your words, it may not be that terrible, but if she finds out that before you tell her it will be game over.

She's actually doing you a favor, one day you will understand.

As someone before said, you dont want to be a whole year thinking what is she doing every night or why she hasnt replied to your texts. You are better off without her, it will hurt and it will suck, but you will move on sooner or later. Stay Strong

Heya, I'm going to USA for the first time with my father in July and we plan on going to those 3 cities, 5 days in each (We will use flights for each destination to maximize available time) but i have a feeling i could take out a day or 2 from one of those cities and add it to another one.

Which of them has the best to offer so i could adjust my schedule? Like adding an extra day to Miami and take it out from Washington or something like that

I assume a lack of hobbies/activities could be a strong reason or even the lack of a partner (But even then, there are many people who are married and are still workaholics)
