Why on earth would any expect to be able to solo Inferno? It's the opposite of the point.

The fact that some classes CAN is the real issue, not that some classes can't.

Well, let's consider what we have left.

*SPOILERS*

1. Adria is still alive
2. Imperius is still alive
3. The Black Soulstone fell back to Sanctuary

I could see either Adria or Imperius merging with the stone. More likely would be Imperius. They built him up quite a bit and then did nothing with him in the end. But either way, with the Black Soulstone still out there, there's a lot of possibilities.

Hit level 41 last night with my Witch Doctor, and I'm getting close to the end of Act 2 NM. Having a hard time getting a good skill setup that I'm happy with and that's useful. I end up changing it a lot based on who I'm playing with, but I guess that's sort of the point.

Wizard is OP from what I've heard, so yeah, pretty much everything is going to kill slower than it.

My WD takes forever to kill things.

Beat Act 1 last night. Took about 6 hours with a group of 3 friends. Had an absolute blast. So many story twists by the way. Holy crap.

I would expect the average initial playthrough to be around 8-10 hours. Blizzard has stated there are 4 acts with Act 4 being shorter (similar to D2). Act 1 on the Open Beta took me 3.5 hours when I took my time and a little less than 2 hours when I rushed.

That wasn't even the full Act 1! Probably not even half of it. But I agree. Normal is gonna take MUCH longer than 6 hours.

Here's how the randomization works.

The entire linear path is always the same. Roads are always where you remember them, cities and entrances are always where you remember them, and key path points are always where you remember them. The world in between you and that goal is randomized. The only thing this does it take away from those godawful situations where you'd just run around the edge of the map looking for Blood Raven or Far Oasis or what have you. A step in the right direction if you ask me.

There are still random dungeons, with random floor plans.
