I never really cared about Focus powers either. I did get a lot more cross-class combos when I stuck "on hit: 10% chance of Hidden Blades w/ 5 hits" on my archer, though, so maybe I should've invested more time in that.

I had tears, but mostly from yawning. I wish I was making that up.

That said, I liked Carl for the most part (he got better as time went on and Rick proved to be a complete dumbass), but the episode did feel a bit banal outside of the suicide-related stuff. I didn't think they'd have the balls to do that -- and since they off-screened him, maybe they didn't really have any, haha.

However, the showrunners aren't doing a very convincing job of making the show high-quality entertainment, so I wish they'd tell a convincing (normal) tale instead of shoving in all this anachronic crap. They're not Pulp Fiction.

I think the newest one gives you a few free lootboxes or something. All content updates since Origins Edition have been free, so whatever changes are there will be meager.

You'll probably finish the game in the mid-thirties, I believe, though you can go higher. But yeah, if you're just dicking around Velen for "In Ciri's Footsteps" quest stuff, you've quite a ways to go. Remember, main quests (and contracts) give you most of the XP you'll need, not killing random mooks. If you power level too high, quests outside the recommended range -- I think it's 5+ levels above it -- start giving decreased Xp gains.

But anyway, exploration's one of the most fun parts, but it's easy to get overwhelmed when you're just running around strange new places.

Looting Skellige's sea caches is great when you need beaucoup bucks for the runecrafting quest, but otherwise, it's not an amazing thing to dive right into. Those who can't wait should at least get the best saddlebags to carry all that crap -- I think the Kaer Trolde armorer sells 'em.

I've played some of Evo 1 and 2 on Dreamcast -- fun games. I hear the Gamecube version cut out some content, though, so I never really pursued it. Can't think of many games that have new characters saddled with debt, lmao.
