I hate how I can remain good drunk for about 10 drinks or so but there's always that one drink that blacks you out and you end up doing stupid shit like shouting 10 people a round of shots or embarrassing yourself or flirting with random people, or getting kicked out of a bar or trying to order an uber at 4am in the morning but you're too shitfaced that you can't read the map properly and can't find the uber so the uber driver gives up after 5 minutes and you get left with a massive bill and you end passing out on the side of the road somewhere while everyone laughs at you. --- "A human destiny, but nothing human inside..... If Remake 2 had the proper A/B scenarios and had giant spiders in sewers it could've been a perfect remake. It really goes for this psychedeli, surreal, depressing feel that I wasn't expecting. One that I don't see get recommended that often is The Brood. Scanners is another Cronenberg great that misses the 70s criteria by two years, but it's really out there and feels entirely like the 70s so watch that too. Really? I thought it was pretty great. While I did think the story is extremely predictable.... Good acting from the child actor and the animatronics on Chucky are great and still fun to watch. I love the scenes where you see him in the backgrounds and very briefly are by far the best and creepiest. I thought Halloween 2018 and Kills both slapped hard in the best way possible and Halloween 1978 is just a downright masterpiece. I haven't seen Halloween II or Season of the Witch (I know it has nothing to do with Mike) but I'm keen on seeing theme. Halloween 4 is also awesome. I mean I like it alot but IMO they botched all the music, the controls are worse and they managed to fuck up the visuals in certain stages. For example the ps1 theme of the snow level slaps hard.
