I'm a pretty casual Bayo player. I'm decent enough to normally get golds and the occasional platinum ranks for chapters but I'm looking to get better in this one.

So far the gameplay is good old Bayonetta fun. There's new mechanics like being able to summon the demons mid fight to do massive damage. There's also a parry you can do. Press the demon summon button as the enemy hits you to parry them.

My issue so far is the gimmicks. There's waaaay too much gimmicky shit so far and I'm only onto chapter 4. I have no issues with gimmicks but the problem is here they aren't fun and they control like shit. The one that plays like a 2d fighter/paper scissors rock is just tedious.
And i hate to say it. I really do. But the looks like shit at worst and sub par at best. I think the previous Bayo games had great art direction so it made for the shortcomings. Here so far I've just been running around generic looking Japanese cities and it looks like something from a launch ps3 title.

The music is great. The new voice actress for Bayo is perfect. I wouldn't have known it was a different actress it wasn't for the controversy.

Also this is more a personal issue.. but the story does this whole multiverse thing which these days I find incredibly tired and bland.

My favourite word is the pluralized version of a banned word on gamefaqs.
It's incredibly offensive to my culture honestly.

The worst part about the bedroom kill is that it was probably the least deserving victim in the whole movie lol.

Sick ass movie. Awesome kills, likeable villains, badass final girl, sick soundtrack.
It went for too long however. That said the movie went super quickly for me but it could've trimmed some fluff.

I don't know how people were so offended with the gore in this one and were throwing up. Its so comical and over the top. I had a dumb ass, stupid grin on my face during all the kills.

I order a regular combo and then it's always half gone before the movie even starts.

Also the thing this game achieves the most is this idea of "I'll just check out this weird looking area over there for a a few minutes before bed"
And you end up taking 50 detours along the way and you've been playing for about 2 hours overtime.

My favourite stealth technique is using stasis on dudes, sprinting up to them and then stealthy striking them.

I refuse to finish Ganon until I do all the shrines, all side quests, enough korok seeds to upgrade inventory slots, all armours and filling out the compendium.

I haven't seen terrifier 1 but there's one kill in 2 that's really fucking brutal.

How brutal? Like over the top, funny type brutal? Or the kind of brutalness that keeps you up at night?

I've heard the gore and kills are next level.
Surely nothing can stop that one infamous kill from terrifier 1.

Three out of 4 divine beast, 300 Korok seeds, 70 shrines, loads of side quests, still need to find a fairy, haven't completed Tarry yet, still need to reveal one more tower.

It's interesting because I'm normally super sensitive to open world games. Normally I get bored very quickly after roughly 10 hours but BotW is different.
It's one of those games I can't stop thinking about when I'm not playing it.

The first half is the best horror I've ever seen
The second half is fun but definitely does not live up to the first act.

It's trash but it's the good kinda trash.
I just want to see a scary looking clown murking a bunch of chumps in sadistic, creative and br0tal ways and there's nothing wrong with that.

Both revelations games are pretty bland and boring.

They came out during Resident Evil' s descent into the fucking toilet so they seemed like masterpieces at the time. But they aren't good.

I really hope it's not a remake. Please no remake.
In an ideal world for me it's going to be a brand new/fresh entry to Silent Hill. With an actual good remaster of the first 4 games coming to ps4/5/Xbox/pc in the meantime to tide us over.

I only really care about Crash and Spyro. So other then that indifferent.

I have a big issue with big names just buying publishers though. No creativity and I don't see how it's good for consumers. It's basically just paying to win

I don't remember Ascension at all but I'll never forget this tune.

The idea of nothingness in a split instant is bizarre to me.

At least if you're dying slowly (and painfully) you can reflect on everything and embrace it.

Please no more remakes. Just a fresh new take on silent hill would be nice.

As much as I love Halloween Ends and Kills I can't help but feel they could've created the best halloween/Horror/sequel/slasher movies of all.time if they had combined all the best elements from Kills and Ends into one movie.

Just thought I'd point out that I'm in the 0.2% that enjoyed it.
I'd rather something outrageously wild and different rather than playing it super safe

It's not a perfect movie by any means. There's loads of flaws like Kills but there's alot that this movie executes really well and brings some interesting themes to the table.

Shout out to the actor thay played Corey. I feel like there was a lot of weight on his shoulders because he needed to be good for this movie to succeed. And I think he gave a damn good convincing performance.

The carpenter soundtrack slaps as well..

Say what you want about this movie when it releases but there's one kill that's absolutely fucking insane.

The killer in a Michael Myers mask basically smashes a dudes head against a desk until his jaw is completely shattered and hanging open. Then fake Myers takes a pair of scissors and snips off this poor guys tongue. All in very clear detail.

I liked it alot but I can already tell it's going to get absolutely panned by fans and critics.

It's Miken' Time

Feels like a forgotten/cancelled classic from the PS2 era that someone dug and slapped a new coat of paint on.

The atmosphere is creepy, the resources are scarce, the puzzles are fun and the saves.are limited.

I'm glad they didn't bitch out and the game too easy.

I died at the first enemy because I got stuck in a corridor between a locked door and an enemy. Classic Survivor bullshit move rright there. Lost 30 mins of progress lmao.

There's more to watching a horror film than just being actually scared

It's the oppressive and hopeless atmosphere, dark themes that stick with you, the sound designs, the unsettling, the mystery and unknown.

Silent Hill

It's a solid horror movie in its own right and even though it ditches the Order storyline, I think it still manages to capture the feeling of the games very well.

Silent hill was great. Been ages since I watched it, but it took a unique spin while still retaining the vibes from the game and the fan service was done really well.

For me it's going to be Halloween Kills.

It'sgets absolutely shit on but the movie to me did so much well that it seems unfair to call a train wreck and the "worst horror movie of all time"

So far I've done Vah Ruta and Vah Naboris and I think I'm close to getting the master sword

And it's only 5 years old and playable on PS5.
