Some cats are shy or not always in the mood. It may be better to start off while sitting at a chair. Then lean to the side a bit and start scratching the ground with your fingers when the cat is in the area. If they have ever enjoyed pets or scratches, they are likely to suspect that you may be up for doing that, and if they want some, they are likely to come over to your hand.

Sometimes it can be good to, after they come over and sniff, put your hand stationary around their head level. They may then initiate the pet themselves by basically walking under your hand so that it strokes them down the head and across the back. At this point you may be able to engage your hand more actively.

It really depends. Hive cities in general are pretty bad to REALLY bad. But there are effectively paradise worlds located more towards the center of the Imperium too, where you are unlikely to ever worry about weird xenos or such. You have to note that the setting mostly focuses on where there is bad stuff going on.

But there are other aspects that make 40k pretty bad, including the way it lays out afterlife.

Humans are predators that hunt by just chasing something until it is half dead from exhaustion. The "natural" point for the mouth watering would be when we see them on their side on the ground panting and barely able to move as we slowly walk towards them to stab them in the neck with a spear.

Of course, that would assume that mouth watering is an instinct. It is not. It is a learned behavior that is usually timed in response to triggers that occur when food is typically about to be eaten. This is true in other animals too, most famously dogs as Pavlov demonstrated.

An unusual geological foundation that is shaped like a famous geologist's wife.

Senzu bean. It would have been at least a bit better if it had been the case that everyone else had weakened Cell before he got there, and he wanted a fair fight with Cell HIMSELF. Still not good, but at least it would have just been Goku being a battle junkie.

Lets try it out with the Sentinels of the Multiverse.

Those that work:
Heroes:
-Mister Fixer: A hero who fights with a mix of mystic kung fu while wielding random stuff he has in his auto-repair garage, like tire irons, etc. Does not use power tools.
-Guise: He is basically Deadpool, but with super powers including the ability to copy other people's powers and body types. Technically is originally white, but he could actually just become black if he wants to. He doesn't NEED to copy someone who uses electrical powers either. He might make this sort of argument to be allowed here in this topic, because he breaks the 4th wall really hard. EDIT by Guise: And he is the best character in the game!
-The Naturalist: A shapeshifter who takes on the forms and powers of crocodiles, rhinos, and gazelle, and can take on attributes of more than one at once.
-Parse: An archer whose brain is basically a natural predictive super computer that lets them basically make any shot they want with arrows. They do not need any actual computers or such, though all her cards are basically named after computer terms. The arrows and bow appear to be completely normal.
-Bunker (WW2 version): A mechanical power suit that is powered by gas or diesel and flame, but does not appear to use electrical power. Appears as though they would fight using guns, bazookas, and flame throwers.

Villains:
-Citizen Blood: minor villain that is part of Citizen Dawn's deck. They are basically like a group of mutants who work together to establish a new order or something.
-Kismit: A female villain whose superpower is supernaturally good luck.
-The Innead: A group of villains based on Egyptian mythology together as one deck. Most of them have dark skin. One of them however seems to be an incarnation of the god of storms though, so does use electricity.
-Freight Train: A physical power villain who basically wears a train grill. Good at bursting through walls, but doesn't use electricity or fancy technology.

Those who fail at least one criteria other than being black:
Heroes:
-Bunker (future bad timeline version): Is the same person as Freight Train, but his suit DEFINITELY uses electrical power.

Villains:
-Innead (specifically, Set). Uses electricity.

Not sure/other:
Heroes:
-Fanatic. Is an angel sort of hero who uses light-type powers and hates vampires. Has a darker skin but not sure if "black."
-Haka. A strong physical hero who doesn't age (functionally immortal) and uses mystical hakas to empower him. Fights a bit similar to a non-angry version of the hulk. Dark skinned, but maybe not "black."
-Ra. Fire elemental due to being an incarnation of the Egyptian sun god. Same issue as above.
-Writhe: His power is basically shadows, and he himself is completely pitch black. But I don't know what his "real"/original skin color is (his power and appearance appear to be permanent though, so he may count as black NOW).

Villains:
-Chokepoint. Not sure if she counts as black. Also, she is similar to Magneto, and her cards do indicate that she uses electrical powers too.
-Infinitor: no depiction of what he looks like without his mask, and his costume is full body. He is basically an "evil" green lantern who is possessed by and tormented/driven insane by green-related energies and voices.

There are also a variety of aliens on both sides, and some of them have non-human skin colors like turquoise, red, blue, etc. Many of them do have at least something that uses electricity though, being aliens with some manner of technology or another though.

Khorne has a better throne anyway.

There was an incredible tornado in Nebraska a couple days ago. Basically just mostly sat in one place, and at one point had a rainbow next to it. There are a couple points where both the rainbow and lightning were both next to the tornado, and it was a very awesome tornado.

Here is some coverage of it that was done live. Skip to about 2:45 (hours:minutes) in to see where it is starting. Lasts until about 3:30ish. There were multiple chasers just hanging around it the whole time. Tornado of the year may be an understatement, more like tornado of the decade.

Not to mention you can also NOT climb over everything. You only got the movement abilities from the giant Pokmon questline, and it's possible to do Victory Road without getting any new abilities. So how the hell would a Victory Road work? Require you to finish a whole other quest line? Or have something that doesn't require those abilities, but gets easily negated if you do have them? It's impossible.

But I thought the interview thing was kinda cool. First time it made the Pokmon League feel like an actual, official thing in-world.

I mean, the obvious thing would be to put "victory road" and the elite 4 and everything all inside a single giant building/enclosed space or something. Like maybe some kind of huge stadium, but the first time you go in you can only enter from the entrance that has the victory road element, but the guards let you in from other entrances once you get through it once.

She has a base ability that would be one of the most OP powers if she just learned Haki. Just imagine being able to materialize a haki-powered limb literally anywhere you want, even on someone else's body. So naturally, she never learns Haki.

Bears are just one of those things that stay cute even when they get 10 times as big as you and can probably tear you in half.
