Back in the 90s, Key, the Visual Novel creators of Air TV, Kanon, Clannad....etc, were part of a company called 'Tactics'. As some who follow the series know, Kanon took place in the Winter, Clannad in the Spring, and Air in the Summer. There was no specific 'Fall' series.

Well, when they were Tactics, they made a series called "ONE". They had both a hentai and non-hentai OVA, as well as a Visual Novel. As a big fan, I wanted to get the story that was tied to ONE, and I always heard the non-Hentai OVA was just utter trash. I watched the Hentai OVA and played 3/6 of the Visual Novel endings and absolutely loved it. The premise was typical Key, and there was only one sex scene per girl, so it was worth it.

Another game I played was also by Tactics, called MOON. .... MOON. was something..... I never expected from the Key people, as it was...... very dark. It was about a girl whose mother used to be part of a psychic-power-harnessing cult. The cult ended up killing her mother and the girl decides to join the cult to find out why her mother was killed. The cult only takes in girls and splits them up into A, B, and C houses. A for the highly psychic girls (Your character) and B and C girls, who lived in inhumane conditions, including no showering, exploitation, and more.

MOON. for a key game, really freaked me out in a sense. I wanted more of the story, but I only got one ending since it is more branched out in your decisions, and that it dealt with a lot of bloody R. It got really freaky to me. Again, expecting from the team that gave me Clannad, I did not expect it to get this dark. If there was no bloody R scenes in there, the story and gameplay would have kept me highly interested. It was really engaging with the atmosphere, but then they ruin it with that shit.

Religions are widely accepted cults. Whether or not the intentions of people within are good or bad, they have you worshipping a 'greater being' and encouraging people to live a way outlined for them opposed to freely.

In addition, religious people are far more likely to believe in crazy-ass shit too, because they already follow this idea of an entity completely unproven.

This is pretty much how I see a modern 'diverse' Sailor Moon would be:

Sailor Moon - White - Because needs to show that the world centers around white people because of course, it does.
Sailor Mercury - Asian Genius - Because they'd fit that 'smart' stereotype in there and all the technology.
Sailor Venus - Gay Transgender Male - Because jock who likes sports, video games and is boy-crazy.
Sailor Mars - South Asian - Because of her spirituality.
Sailor Jupiter - Transgender Female- I agree with others, because she's that stereotype of all trans women being big.
Sailor Saturn - Modern Goth - She was always gothy, but I think far more with black makeup and clothes.
Sailor Uranus - Lesbian - Nothing really changes here. Probably more feminist.
Sailor Neptune - Lesbian - Only change is that she's a catholic school girl here who hates everyone not like her.
Sailor Pluto - Black - She already has a darker skin complexion, and she's not in the inner senshi, so hey, why not keep black people out of it?\
Chibi - Little Person - Because again, fake progression.

And of course, this would totally miss the mark because it would be awful with these kinds of choices, but yeah, I see it laying out like that, thinking it's being progressive.

That's about my mother's pay too. She's getting raises kinda fast too, but man, they had her on a string for the job for a while, and almost took another job as a caretaker until they caught her at the right moment.

She's a mail person for my own town. Her commute is literally 5 minutes away.

My mother just got a job for the USPS and the labor is intensive if you do mail carrier stuff, but she's losing a lot of weight and is really enjoying it despite the weather conditions. If you do it, expect to take a driving test.

Hey, I did that. Ended up with a job that pays me 24 an hour, x2 pay on holidays, I work from home, lots of room for growth, and bosses and CEOs who are very attentive to our needs and all respect us so awesomely. It's rare for me to say I love my company, but damn, I love my company. So surprised I got the job offer and it ended up being this amazing of a place.

Lol, my last job.

They paid us like, 14.10 an hour, and eventually my boss was thrilled because we had a newcomer coming in who was a Master in History. .... I know there's some crazy kid's cartoon episodes out there, but this one always kind of stuck to me as one of the most serious cartoon episodes I ever saw on TV as a kid. Some shows brought up some situations indirectly, but this episode of Captain Planet was very.....VERY direct about drugs to the point they even killed a character off with the drugs. (A minor character, but still)

I can also think of things like the One Beer episode of Tiny Toons, which was a bit off the side there.... or the Courage episodes with spooky weird stuff, but the Captain Planet drug episode was just a crazy ride.

Was there anything made for kids that you feel was more..... serious and direct than this episode?
