For the cat thats puking, she shouldnt be eating or drinking basically more than what can keep her alive right now. and she def shouldnt be eating kit and kaboodle when shes this sick. keep her quarantined and give her a spoonful of very soft rice and just a few sips of water in frequent intervals. You're only prayer is she can hold that down for the day.

what are you feeding her? just give her a few sips of water at a time and a spoonful of rice and she if she can keep that down. if she doesnt puke, start to add a little more food day by day and monitor her. I also had a kitten die in a similar manner back in the day, its painful if theres nothing you can do

Actually learning that this pokemon doesn't have a story is more of a plus than anything else Ive heard. I'll take zero story over sun and moons stop every minute for a cutscene where they talk about light story anyday.

I really don't think there can be a better contender for last place than Corrin herself. I genuinely don't think there has ever been a worse character. It's almost a feat to manage to be both boring and outrageously poorly written. Her character traits are "loves her family" and "prefers to not murder people when conveinent"

Also as a side note, she is completely overdesigned as a barefoot mummy dragon and I love it. The weird mouth that comes out of her arm that shoots fire? God damn that is totally my type of stupid.

Fates has crawled onto the top of my favorite games list like a shitty turtle in an allegory story about persistence. Despite this, I really think almost none of the characters are even kind of good.

Good characters off the top of my head in no order:

Zola (zola for cyl4)
Felicia
Midori
Benny (Benny is such a great character, that other characters get better in their support with him)
uhh
Male Kana
Velouria
Izana

It's actually not a bad list but considering there are some of the worst written characters in fiction like Corrin, Xander, Iago, Perri and Muk the pokemon but he's actually King Garon but he's actually a dragon all together in the same game. And characters like Azura, who is so characterless I literally forgot she was in the game until I looked at your list.

I think I would probably do it for 350. Not only could I make a nice bump, keep my job from a leave of absence, but I could also rent out my house for some extra income on top of that. Then there's the money I save on my mortgage, electric, water etc.

You know, I reject this take.

Pokemon is a game series that's been with me for over half my life. I went through my sun and moon collection and was amazed at how it's a library of times in my life unintentionally. A relicanth from when I was stuck at my grandma's house as a kid without internet and figured out how to decipher the regipuzzles by learning braille (I had notecards all over the bed, it took me all day) I have a pokemon I named after one of my best friends (now deceased) because I promised to name the last pokemon after her after missing a date to instead play pokemon colosseum. I have ones that I named after places on road trips, ones that I stole from my friend's or cousin's gba after they were done with pokemon because I liked them (my friend had a spheal named "lusealball" which to this day is the best pokemon nickname I've ever seen) Pokemon in dream balls remind me of the time me and my ex-wife played the awful dream world browser game every day for a year. I have an entire living dex of emotional memories, and they're being taken away because "eh corporate reasons"

It's like if facebook was to suddenly delete half of my my photos, or half of my messages without warning. I'm losing so many memories because a company I put thousands of dollars into over the course of my life, values new customers more than it's existing ones. I think it's ok to be devastated in this scenario, I think it makes sense to be angry. It also feels sucky when people who you viewed as fellow pokemon fans are so quick to dismiss you and toss you to the side and continue to enable a company that's been enabled for so long.

Yeah sure it's a game, and yeah something like this was bound to happen eventually. It's something we have to move on from. But it's entirely reasonable to mourn the death of a series that has up into now, dedicated to it's own legacy.

come to think of it, all the people who don't mind the snap, are those the same people who don't nickname their pokemon?

They're anchored to a certain part of the Wild Area, and they don't seem to come in shiny varieties

Also the IGN review is done by the "too much water" lady.

She's not getting paid off, but IGN gets its hits from upsetting people. Their demographic is people who go to IGN to make fun of it. It's the same reason the NYT publishes recipes like guac with peas. Outrage gets clicks.

I would caution however that kids these days have the internet and look up videos on youtube quite a lot, so the opinions of the hardcore base CAN trickle down to the casual masses; I have an 11-year-old brother and I've seen this happen quite a bit, not in this particular instance for him (he still plans to purchase SwSh) but he is impressionable in general

Oh yeah I guess there's a sliver of hope there. Like the way all zoomers know sonic forces is bad but no one actually played it.

That said influencers of pokemon content are pretty saccharine. I don't see a lot of famous pokemon youtubes critique the games.

Yeah in the best case scenario, this might sell worse than Fire Emblem, making it still a huge financial success.

like I said, this is something that really mostly hurts the hardcore fans, and there simply aren't enough of us to make a dent in the sales numbers to change anything.
