Gumball does have a unique art style that sets it apart from most cartoons. Never heard of Miraculous.

Never watched My Little Pony. It does seem kinda like an old new grounds flash cartoon style, but the pony designs are unique. Again, never actually watched though.

Now, you will probably immediately recognize that I suck with words and explaining this, but I think this is a somewhat valid concern.

I feel like so many cartoons (western, at least) just look the same nowadays. They all seem to have the same uninspired, lazy art style.

I guess it's because most of them are made on the computer? Not saying good art can't be made on a computer, but perhaps it provides too many shortcuts or whatever to just slap something together?

I feel like animation should be a way to make visually unique ways of telling a story since the possibilities are endless, but instead the majority of cartoons just use the same lazy, copy/paste art style as everyone else and it makes me irrationally upset.

Can someone who isn't a dum dum like me shed some light on this topic, please? Thank you!

I used to smoke cigarettes. Started when I was like 16 but I quit last February so it's been over a year. I've had literally a couple cigs since then usually when drunk but I don't like it the way I used to.

Edit: oh and I'm 25, was 23 when I quit so I smoked for like 7ish years.

Super Mario 64. The first time I saw/played it at the Toys R Us a couple weeks before it came out my little mind exploded. Didn't get to own it myself until that Christmas but it was so damn worth it. I can't think of any other moment of my life in gaming that had such a massive impact on me.

GTA 3 was pretty big to me, too, but not nearly as much. Perhaps me being younger for the 64 is why it affected me so much, but I still think of the n64 fondly as it was my first own console (Nes and Genesis were my bros').

My dad has a safe full of guns that he never picks up or uses. He also has a motorcycle he hardly rides (yet refuses to give up) and drives a pick up truck despite no need for loading anything in the truck. He used to hunt years ago, but didn't even bring back his kills, just let his hunting buddies take everything.
He also has a super sensitive ego and won't accept anything said to him that he feels is challenging his way of thinking.

dude, new topics in this board used to get second paged immediately after posting, back then it was insane, so it sure has gone down a lot these days.

I actually prefer the slower pace... Easier to follow things without having to track a hundred topics.
