Those books are "Tesuji" (go problems), Joseki (outdated but i like it), and AlphaGo vs Lee Sedol (the games between AG and LS, with commentary). Zikten posted... There is a manga about Go, called Hikaru No Go. It had an anime too. I used to read the manga and there is a Go lesson at the end of each chapter. But I still could never understand it anyway Yes :D I've read the manga and seen the show like 5 times. It's my favorite anime. warlock7735 posted... Kageyama got me from 15k to 12k and then 12k to 9k. I haven't played in years though, and I was very much a tesuji player, so I'm probably back down to 15k at best. I loved me a 5-3 opening it's like riding a bike tho; your skill doesnt deteriorate quickly. youre probably still 10-9k after a few hours. 5-3 opening is sus. you gotta learn your AlphaGo joseki though. 3-3, 3-4, 4-4 is what AlphaGo (AlphaZero) likes. --- --- |
