From what Ive seen, if you play outside in high sunlight areas a lot, etched helps with the glare. There might be technical impact on the image accuracy compared to glossy but nothing youll actually notice and care about beyond side-by-side comparisons.

i had an etched screen protector on my LCD deck which added slight fuzziness to the picture but when I was actually playing it never bothered me. I went glossy oled and got a regular protector this time around bc I realized Im usually playing at night on my bed or sofa.

OLED model is absolutely a step up in several ways beyond just the screen quality. Lighter weight, quieter fan, improved wifi and battery, better feeling triggers and buttons. Beyond OLED, the screen also goes up to 90hz and is bigger with less bezels. Steam absolutely did not have to do such a comprehensive mid-life refresh but they did and gatdam is it worth the upgrade

Thats frustrating. But at least theyre not putting up a fight about a replacement in the first place! Hope it gets to you without issue quickly.

Shows I've enjoyed in the past are your expected FMA, Code Geass, TTGL, Cowboy Bebop, Haruhi Suzumiya, One Punch Man (season 1, haven't seen S2), and most recently Demon Slayer (up to the clothing district arc). Also liked Full Metal Panic, Samurai Champloo, Elfen Lied, Welcome to the NHK, Planetes, mothafuckin' Baccanno.

On the flip side, Kill La Kill made me want to strangle someone because it tried too hard. So did Space Dandy.

Spy x Family is on my list. I got somewhere into S2 of Attack on Titan, so that's happening, too.

and no shame i'm a sucker for fanservice if the rest of the show is solid (for example: fuck ya Godannar, but High School of the Dead didn't hold my interest)

Okay, I was out earlier. Cat related games I have played on Steam:

Cat Quest 1&2: You know about these already.
Stray: Duh.
Little Kitty, Big City: Absolutely adorable game that only has a demo right now (that sadly got pulled due to the whole Unity thing.) Will hopefully release next year.
The Purring Quest: Not a very good platformer, but the art is attractive and the theming of the game is kinda cute.
Gibbous: A Chthulu Adventure: The cat is a side character, but she's a talking cat who gives her owner crap in this LucasArts-esque P&C adventure.
Gato Roboto: Black-and-white Metroidvania about a cat who can pilot mech suits.
Ato: Another metroidvania. Ato is I think a fox, but it's hard to tell. So samurai foxcat trying to protect his family.
Copy Kitty: Anthro cat who is playing around in a military training sim. Wasn't my favorite.
Cat Cafe Manager: Bought this one for a friend. It's okay.
Night in the Woods: Mae is a black cat person in a town full of animals who are struggling to get by.
