At least in BC where I live, if you sign all the proper rental forms, you can kick them out with a month's notice for not obeying renter's agreements.

I dunno, I don't really agree with your sentiments, at least in regards to where I live. There are far more shitty landlords here than renters. Rent is disgustingly high where I live, and landlords don't often take care of things they need to (mold/mildew, rats, etc). It's pretty easy to get rid of bad renters imo.

But the younger main character girl (Lorelei's daughter) is actually kind of an asshole a lot of the time. Pretty mindless show really. Too engaging lol

It's like how there are anti-semetic comments in the first few chapters of LA noire. I'm not anti-semetic, but I'm sure lots of movies like Goodfellas contain similar material. It's a fictional story based on reality. I do agree with more representation in movies and games though.

Everyone's seen me posting as a pretty hard railing "social justice warrior" or whatever, but when it comes to this, I'll compare books to video games, or comedy. Offensive examples of all of these all exist, but it depends on the nuance of delivery within the plot and morals of the novel/book/games at hand, for me.

Are we talking about a game like Red Dead Redemption 2 in particular? I think it's fine to have a game like it. It'd be cool if there was even more representation within video games, which is worth fighting for, and as of such, worth criticizing current games for. That's the way it is, so I think discussing things is fine, but banning games with violent/sexist/racist content isn't that great. That being said, I agree with that school shooting video game not being released.

I do think that games should perhaps be made to be held more accountable. A bit more anti-war rhetoric in CoD games would be nice :p

Spirit temple is probably my favourite.

I've enjoyed all of the Zelda games, personally. I feel like Spirit Tracks felt like quite a bit of a chore to play through, I at least found Phantom Hourglass charming. The original would have been tedious if it weren't for save states. Sorry, I don't have the time to play a game the oldschool way. With save states, I found it really fun. I can see how amazing it would have been in 1986. Majora's Mask is probably my favourite. I've beaten every Zelda game save for BotW (almost done), Zelda II (a couple temples in), and I haven't played Trifoforce Heroes.

His words HAVE emboldened white nationalists. Irrefutable.

Simply talking about race issues isn't racist. If your words are cited as emboldening white nationalists, by white nationalists themselves, you are emboldening white nationalists, who are thusly carrying out discriminatory and/or violent actions towards ethnic minorities (or majorities, for that matter). If someone cites you as an influence, you best be willing to account for it. Most politicians would do something still in poor taste, but in less poor taste than Trump. He attacks the reporter, and denounces her as racist, something of which is she only implying Trump's association with. Answer to that association, and denounce it with conviction. Other politicians would at least pull other excuses out of their asses, along the lines of blaming mental illness, but promoting little policy to assist in treating it. Instead, stoking the fire inside the brains of the mentally ill. lmao America blows

Problem is thats such a dumb subjective way of portraying a problem. I mean if you live in a place that have large demographics. You are gonna have morons who probably are supremacist for their belief.. there is gonna be that one little percent of morons who yell this stuff, aslong as you just say "hey you guys are idiots and dont platform them or give them voice" thats what just needs to be done. That does not in anyway make it right. But that doesnt mean there isnt dumb supremacist of any other kind, white supremacy, black supremacy or any other form of supremacy. Point is we have to agree that supremacy whether it is jewish, black, white whatever is just flat out moronic. Like they are americans first. But you gotta face reality too... majority is a majority for a reason, i mean there is a thing such as large demographics, should i whine if i live in Africa and be surprised that.. whoopedy doo, most dont look like me. But one thing that is insanely dumb... is because there are a minority living there. One of the worst thing to do is to treat them like they dont have value. That is what is bad here, same with supremacy its all stupid more or less.

But really what is the left wingers suggesting here? Sterilizing people to stop a large demographics? Because in reality the best way is to try to understand one another is in my view the best way to try to work together and build stuff. like look i believe in unity through diversity "as in being different is ok" and teamwork is what makes a strong team, and i am a believer in that stuff

If i had to explain it, but yeah

excusing 'the morons' is an excuse for the awful education America has as a 1st world country. America fails its children.

no, no left wingers are suggesting sterilizing anyone, so please don't suggest that. pretty sure EVERY left winger, even the shit ones, are pro-EDUCATION

I have a Canadian friend who thinks very similar to you, the problem that I face in explaining things to him is that the terms we use are the same but the meanings are different.

We do not have a left-leaning party in our government. We have a conservative party, and a slightly less conservative party that acts like they care about peoples feelings. Both groups are basically mouthpieces for the corporations.

The media are corporations. They have their own interests. Political pundits make millions of dollars a year, much more than you or I and live in places like New York City, both them and their bosses know nothing about the normal day to day plights of American citizens. They are also vying for power as more and more people leave television behind and the boomers die out.

Now I listen to a lot of news off of Youtube, people who say that the media is bad (in very similar ways to the whole "orange man bad thing"). I don't trust them either. Those content creators operate very similar to how the media operates, they pander to an audience to make money, some of them making over a hundred thousand dollars a year just to talk in front of a mic for a couple of hours a night.

But I digress, the important part about the media is that they're a control game. The media exists to control, and make money from controlling. It is as you say, a distraction.

But what has the President done recently? That's a really good question really. Nomination of Kavanaugh comes to mind, and not much else.

Edit: I guess an easy way to see what the president has done this year would be to look at the list of EOs and Acts passed by Congress:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_executive_actions_by_Donald_Trump#2018
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_acts_of_the_115th_United_States_Congress

I get you. Really, Canada isn't much different at the Federal level. If you don't like the youtube news you watch, why watch it? People seem to love Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro...I'd name some lefties but none come to mind...but most of em just want your goddamn money like the big guys!

This is what is wrong with this country, there are two competing ideologies, and neither side is willing to step down from their high horse and accept the others. If you believe it's an honest question then the president gave an honest answer. It is pretty obvious he used White Nationalists and viral campaigning, and Russians and whatever else was at his disposal to get the presidency, whether or not that matters anymore really don't matter as he has fulfilled very few of his campaign promises and probably never will because congress will not allow him to because the corporations pay congress.

This is all a distraction, the question and its answer are meaningless when everyone already knows the answer and the reporter knew the response to the question before it was even asked.

Also the media does this on a daily basis, and will continue to do it on a daily basis forever because it generates discord.

wew.

I suppose I, as a Canadian person with an outside view, am on a highhorse, as are most people on both sides of the so-called "great debate" of American politics. I simply suggest that people heavily familiarize themselves with as much world history from 1900 until now. I hope that assists in informing peoples views towards how the world is currently operating.

I definitely often do feel the same way as I am reading you to feel: fairly nihilistic. However, I DO believe it matters that these are methods at someone's disposal to ascend to the highest office of the USA.

It sure is a distraction, seeing as Donald Trump will never answer a question directly, as the majority of politicians do not. However, I do believe that questions are worth asking. I do not think that asking questions should create discord, and I believe people need to read/digest their news more objectively, and with less emotion (both sides). That being said, I find policies enacted by Republicans/Conservatives to be generally more destructive than Democrats/Liberals, as of such, I welcome constructed criticism of their actions. This reporter was measured and calm in my view, and Donald Trump was not. Call it a distraction (it is, watching most news is a giant waste of time), but I wouldn't dismiss it completely.

I'm constantly bemused by individuals denouncing the media, but supporting other garbage media. I enjoy reading my news from a variety of sources, and gleaning what I can from the most straightforward and least sensationalist views on events. If Americans hate "the media" so much, why are CNN and Fox still so successful? Americans are hypocrites.

As for the 'people who are sexually aroused by 16 year olds', I'm pretty sure those individuals need to learn to curb such sexual thought. Just because somebody has certain thoughts, doesn't mean they are healthy thoughts. I may have psychotic demons that rise in my brain from time to time, but I have gained tools to quell them and suppress such episodes of psychosis. Anyone having uncontrollably sexual thoughts regarding minors needs to seek help. People of the age of 16 are still very vulnerable. Wishing to pursue such impulses is wildly irresponsible and abusive in nature.

Overall? 90ish/100, that is some eccletic and varied taste.

Extra points for the following: BNL, Boris, King Crimson, Gorillaz (I still think the concerts are awkward, but love the man), Badbadnotgood, Les Claypool/Primus

I was lucky enough to see Gorillaz perform with a full orchestra, The Clash's bassist and guitarist, and a ton of featured artists (Bobby Womack, Little Dragon)...pretty crazy. Still had screens but they were kinda separate, and it was cool to see Damon out front and center.

BNL was amazing, thankful to my parents for treating me to that. My dad said it was 'too loud' and put Nibs (candy) in his ears because 'they looked like ear plugs'.

I was so happy to see Boris twice. I have a setlist with all of their autographs. I helped them load their uhaul the first time, and only didn't get Wata's autograph. The second time I saw them, that was probably what I consider the craziest show I've seen. The guys from Tera Melos helped me find Wata for her autograph. Skerik (amazing tenor sax player) was playing with Master Musicians of Bukkake, and took a picture of me with the Tera Melos guys. An amazing time.

King Crimson was special because I bought a ticket for my dad. He never thought he'd get to see them, and was a huge fan in the 70s.

Simpsons has been irrelevant since Season 8. It changed it's relationship with pop culture around that time to worship it, instead of skewering it.

They could've changed the actor to and Indian guy, and gotten rid of his accent. Like, just be creative, or do something funny. Instead of a boring, crappy episode excusing the whole thing, and then phasing out Apu? Makes 0 sense whatsoever. Someone needs to pull the plug on Simpsons really.

I bought a PS2 a year or two ago simply to play Dragonball DVDs. Now I've scored a bunch of amazing games for cheap I missed out on, I love it. I have Tactics, FFIX, and SotN for PS1, FFX, DMC3, Tony Hawk 4 and San Andreas for PS2.
