I think people are setting themselves up for disappoint thinking that's actually Fox Quicksilver. It's probably just another MCU fakeout (just in the actual product this time instead of a fake scene in a trailer) and he's just some random schmuck Agatha manipulated.

Idk man. Using CGI to hide story details in a trailer is one thing. Bringing back an actor from the Fox X-Men movies just for a cheap, in-universe casting gag doesn't sound like something Feige would do unless it amounted to something more, even if it's not in a way that we'd expect.

We already know this ties directly into Multiverse of Madness so surely the multiverse must be playing some effect in this show.

Pretty sure Agatha is doing this on behalf of Mephisto. Billy and Tommy are fragments of Mephisto and Agatha has been operating within this fake reality to plant the idea of creating these children within Wanda's subconscious (hence why they kept repeating the line "For the children" in Episode 2). I think Agatha saw Wanda's ability to create and manipulate reality and saw an opportunity.

As far as Quicksilver is concerned, I feel more confident than ever it's the actual Fox Quicksilver who has somehow been plucked from his reality and mind-controlled as an agent of Agatha's. If Agatha is able to plant "ideas" in Wanda's mind through subconscious manipulation, it makes sense that she planted the idea to bring Pietro back to have someone that can get close to her. But Agatha also wouldn't be aware how alarmingly different this version of Quicksilver is compared to the MCU's version because he died shortly after turning good.

I saw Scorpion in the trailer. I must've missed the clip of him fighting Sub-Zero. In any event, it's a lose-lose situation.

Either Jax gets his arms ripped off and doesn't get revenge on the man who did it to him or else Sub-Zero versus Scorpion is a sideshow attraction with Jax's revenge on Sub-Zero being the main event.

Either way, Jax should not have been positioned as a victim of Sub-Zero.

I mean...it doesn't matter regardless since this version of Sub-Zero is Bi-Han, who's more known for being Noob Saibot than Sub-Zero nowadays. The rivalry between Scorpion and the younger Sub-Zero (Kuai Liang) is more important and prominent.

In the new timeline, it'd technically be Ermac if they hadn't made Ermac such a jobber later on.

EDIT: I guess Quan Chi would also serve as a rival for Jax in the new timeline too, since he caused Jax's PTSD, but they never really develop that rivalry. Plus he would have to share Quan Chi with Scorpion.
