Oh hell yeah. Me too. I struggle something fierce getting up in the morning. This semester I had to be in at 10am. I live about an hour away, so I had to leave at 9. I struggle getting up and it takes me about an hour to get ready to go. So yeah, it was kind of a pain. But it's better than Night Classes. Had those last Semester and I hate driving in the dark.

I'm in the point where all my classes are enjoyable. Got all my general educations out of the way first so I could focus in on the important classes. Really good choice, because I enjoy what I'm doing. Well, until I put all my work off until a week before my finals.

Cristina Vee is the absolute best though. And yeah, it's sad that I haven't heard Liam O'Brien recently. He has a kickass voice. Laura Bailey is still around, but not as common. And Patrick Seitz is everywhere. I'm convinced if you need voice work anywhere, and he'll come do it. You mostly hear him in LA dubs, but you hear him in a lot of Funi dubs too. And Funi is in Texas. Dude is everywhere.

Yeah, having watched the anime first, after just reading the opening of chapter one, the boat ride in, from the VN, I had already had a vastly different opinion on everyone. Everyone felt so much different from how they were portrayed in the anime.

The anime also just did a bad job overall on a lot of scenes. For example. One of my favorite scenes in the VN. The Halloween Party. Watching the anime, it glossed over it, didn't go into any detail, or even show anything really. It was kind of just touch on it, they dead, move on. No impression left on me. Now after reading the VN, what the fuck. That part made my goddamn jaw drop with how brutal it was in the VN. I was so confused because I didn't remember this being as big a deal. Went back and watched it again. Just sitting here like what the fuck. How did they fuck this up?

I'm very, very slowly reading the Higurashi VN. The anime was good enough for me honestly. Not like Umineko though. Watched the Umineko anime right after Higurashi. Thought it was dece at the time. Then Umineko released on Steam. Then I learned of how bad the anime was. Higurashi was a dece adaptation. Umineko was not. Like holy shit, what the hell went wrong there.

Tbh, Cal and Pop are the only Xbox fans I've ever seen on this site that isn't triggered into manchild rage when someone mentions an anime game. I don't see it happening.

Don't let one site taint your image of the entire Xbox playerbase. A lot of us want the anime games.

I'm pretty sure Smile's reps would be Miyuki/Emily and Nao/April, maybe Akane/Kelsey. For the series that get two reps, the main pink cure almost has to be one of them.

Most of the Precure series (beyond the original Futari Wa, which simply has Cure Black and Cure White) normally have pink, blue, and yellow cures normally, and any beyond that are either red, green, or purple. Smile is easily the most popular of any Precure series that features a green cure (Nao) but also one of the most popular to feature a red (Akane, but she has close competition from Towa in Go Princess and maybe Emiru in Hugtto) so I would guess they'd have a rep from Smile for one of those colors. I'd lean toward them using Nao over Akane. Maybe they might use both and forego Miyuki entirely, but considering how the pink cures are the stars of the show, that would be doubtful.

I gotta push for three. Smile is one of the biggest, they should at least get three in. We gotta have Emily. No way we don't. I'd be OK with April and Kelsey, but I almost feel like the two would play really similar. While having Chole or Lily would bring in more variation.

Through 21 episodes, I agree. Every single one of them has a strong presence, whether the episodes are based around them or the group as a whole. Smile's fight scenes may not be as good (so far) as either Heartcatch or Hugtto, but the cast is great all around, and the show is just a lot of fun to watch.

They all play off of each other fantastic, but they are all good enough to carry episodes by themselves.

I can talk more about my complaints about the fights once you've finished up.

But even so, as you said, it's fun. It was just an all around good time and I couldn't stop.

Bring in 2-3 reps from a few of the most popular series in the franchise (like Heartcatch, Smile, GoPri, Hugtto) and 1-2 reps from each of the others. Include a bunch of story missions from across the different series in the franchise, throw in online co-op and arena battle modes, release it on the PS4 and Switch...

I'm really struggling thinking of who should rep Smile. Emily, Kelsey, and Chloe are my first answers. But Lily and April would also be awesome. I want all five in.

Glitter Spade should be the Doki Doki rep though. Easily.

And come on, Xbox is really pushing Japanese Games nowadays. No reason it wouldn't be on Xbox as well. Then add some fire to Microsoft and Ninty's bromance by adding crossplay between Xbox and Switch versions. Hell yeah.

So I just found out a song from a favorite band of mine, Survive Said the Prophet, is the opening song for an anime called Banana Fish. I need to watch the show now. I fucking love that band so much.

A few examples of their work. Because I love them. You can't even tell they're Japanese when he sings in English.

The Smile Cast is just too strong. None of them ever felt like an afterthought.
