Glycogen retains water alongside it, but a depletion of glycogen (And it's water) is not something that is sustainable--Unlike the bogus concept of "Water weight". You can absolutely lose weight by decreasing the percentage of water in your body, but that is almost unanimously detriment to your body in the long term. Actually landing a punch on Mayweather is the problem. McGregor is not a boxer, in terms of boxing he has no power. MMA has no applicability to boxing. Forget what he did in UFC. In boxing he has no power. His arms and legs don't just fall off because he left the Octagon.
