oh yo, i'm on season 4 too. I've taken a bit of a break but will get back into it.

We do 6 days of 12 hour shifts during peak winemaking season so for around 3 months. Work/life really goes out the window unfortunately.

Coffee is key. Resting at home and trying to sleep as much as possible. A good diet is bloody crucial, be organized so you're not always getting takeaways.

Traditionally I've done triathlons, mostly half ironman events, but I hated training multiple disciplines.

I find distance running mentally therapeutic so have settled on half/fulls. I do enjoy the 5K a lot, pre-injury my goal was to break 17 minutes. As you say, short and sweet.

I've actually just joined a running club for the first time, there's some pretty legit runners there by the looks of.

80% healed from a fractured ankle and I am slowly easing into it again, I managed a nice 11km jog today with minimal fuss.

I'm targeting a 1:25 half marathon at the end of this year but will very much listen to the body. Originally the plan was a sub 3 hour marathon but I haven't quite had enough time on feet this year.

I spent 3 years traveling around Europe, picking up work where I could.

I highly recommend it, the freedom was awesome. If I liked a place I stayed, if I didn't I hitchhiked somewhere else.

I worked for 6 months in a winemaking role in Bordeaux. I enjoyed it, especially venturing off the beaten track.

The more touristy places were horrible.
