Anyone else been feeling the same way lately? Especially in the past two weeks with the Israel-Hamas situation, the world just feels like a never ending dumpster fire.

Even when I've gone to the grocery store recently, I feel the intensity and uneasiness from people.

And before someone tells me to stop watching the news, I don't watch the news. But I mean, it's not like I live under a rock. Of course I know what's going on even if I'm not one of those avid 24/7 news watchers.

For the record, doom-scrolling is just a term that some people use to describe getting sucked into terrible news and not being able to look away (refreshing the page for minute-by-minute updates, constantly scrolling on the phone, etc). It has nothing to do with the end of the world, lol.

Anyway, with everything going on lately in the past two weeks, has anyone else had this problem? Getting sucked into all this information about Israel and/or Hamas.

Is that the one with oddly good 2D animation?

Yep. The animation is pretty stellar. The show was apparently hella expensive to produce as well. We're talking 6 million dollars per episode.

Some of the characters can be annoying and a bit generic, but it's a fun show overall. It really captures the absurdity of the Dr. Seuss' world.

I'm talking about the cartoon on Netflix.

One of the main things about the second season is that two factions are at war with each other. Guy-I-Am made assumptions about why they were they having a conflict in the first place. Sam-I-Am corrected Guy and them told him in a snarky tone - "educate yourself".

I dunno. That felt a little too real, lol. Especially with everything going on lately. I was like...welp.

Yes, there's an actual cartoon on Netflix based the Dr. Seuss book Green Eggs and Ham. I just finished watching it recently and it's pretty decent. The animation is great, and it does a good job at capturing the absurdity of Dr. Seuss' world. Some of the characters did annoy me, though.

Also, the second season is weird. It's essentially a spy thriller and has nothing to do with Green Eggs and Ham. It's actually based on a Dr. Seuss book called The Butter Battle, a metaphor of the cold war in which Dr. Seuss characters are divided and at war because of how to put butter on toast.

Have you watched the show? What did you think of it?

Spoiler Warning Obviously

And I don't mean brutal as in violence. Although I really could have done without seeing High Evolutionary's fucked up skinned and bloody face. Not even The Dark Knight went that far with Two Face.

I'm talking about the flashback scenes with Rocket. I normally don't get emotional at all during movies, but the last flashback scene was so emotionally brutal. The otter being murdered in cold blood, Rocket screaming and crying, High Evolutionary mocking his cries, etc. Like, geez.

It's probably one of the few MCU movies I don't plan to re-watch because of that scene alone.
