Overall I enjoyed it. weirdly i got into it straight away but the middle started to drag and i put it off for a few weeks but the ending was p good. from watching the trailer, it seems like it's solely going to focus on the hunt. i know that sounds stupid regarding the whole book is about the hunt, but i dunno if they'll focus on the world, characters, etc boxington posted... I've been interested in seeing Love, Simon since I first saw the trailer, but I didn't know that it was originally a book i finished it in three readings not because it was short or easy to read, but it was super enticing and it was a fun and enjoyable book to read. it wasn't depressing or cliche like other LGBT stories, and i felt like anyone can relate with it since it's also a general coming of age story --- |

| Parappa09 03/03/18 8:30:00 AM #1 | while i feel too old for YA novels, they were both a good read ready player one had some cool concepts, and i tend to like stories about a future dystopian earth. it did feel overly preachy about the 80's references. and it comes off a bit smug/pretentious based on what the author likes from the 80's simon vs the homo sapiens agenda was actually impressive. feels like an original and refreshing take on being a modern day gay teenager. again i felt old reading it but i'm more excited to see this film over RP1 --- |
