They barely let Biden answer 30 seconds worth of questions from the press, because they know he'll stumble over his own words. The last thing they want for him is an hour long debate against a competent speaker. DeSantis would tear him apart on a national stage.

Yeah, they got him this time, just like last time, and every other time they claimed to have him. It's kinda stupid that the dems are going after Trump so hard, considering he's probably the only one Biden stands any chance of beating in the next election.

Sadly there's no real legal punishment for cowardice. Depending on what official capacity you work in, dereliction of duty can be applied, but I doubt that's something they could charge a school resource officer with.

Just two sides of the same coin. I can't think of any act that could be done in the name of one, that couldn't be in the other.

If someone can't take a joke, they're not someone worth being around. Life is too short to spend it walking on eggshells.

I never argued that and you know it. I was making the point that the way it was being portrayed is total fearmongering. I don't get why you're so okay with it. It reminds of the years after 9/11. People were terrified to take their kids anywhere with more than a handful of people because the news was pumping out a new terrorist threat level every other day. What's the benefit of scaring the shit out of people over something that will likely never happen to them? Why are you in favor of that?

What I'm saying, is that there's not a single law you can pass that could stop it, and little to no evidence they would even reduce it. The measures it would take to stop it would be absolutely dystopian. You don't want to get into comparing us to other countries. There are so many differing factors, it's a pointless argument.

School shootings are far from common, and it's dumb to pretend that they are. There were 46 school shootings in 2022, and over 130,000 schools in the US. For comparison, the odds of getting struck by lightning are 1 in 15,300. It's just dramatically over sensationalized. They peddle irrational fear, and people just gobble it up.

This depends on what handgun you're using. You need a critical to pop a head. If you're using a maxed out SG-09 R or Sentinel Nine, they both have a crit multiplyer and it becomes much more common to one shot guys.

I think the part you're missing is that it's a fucking card game, not nuclear codes. Some guy having a couple packs of cards a few weeks early has basically no negative impact. It just a gross overreaction. it's not stolen property. If the seller paid WotC, and the guy paid the seller, nothing was stolen. If they want to sue the seller and blacklist them from distributors, fine I get that. Sending goons to someone's house is way beyond reasonable.

Ice wine is wine made from certain styles(reisling, cabernet france, etc) where the grapes are harvested when they are frozen over. These tend to be super sweet if i recall correctly.

the only true ice wines ive seen were like $40 for a pint. If you think spending that much for 2.5 glasses of wine is col, go for it. If it is really tasty i'd consider it worth it but I have not had an ice wine so I cannot say.

Price various pretty dramatically depending on where you live. It's not nearly that expensive near me because we have local wineries that produce it. Not something you're really supposed to sit and drink a "glass" of anyway. It's considered a dessert wine and it's much sweeter than normal wines. When it's served formally, it comes in a small slim glass. Similar to an absinthe glass or small aperitif glass.
