Yu-Gi-Oh powercreep has gotten crazy. Plus they seem to add a new summon type every few years. I stopped playing after high school like 15 years ago. Look back every so often and it doesnt even seem like the same game anymore

When I left from there, I flew over Kodiak, Alaska. Let us know if you make the same trip. My second flight from Narita to Kyushu was absolute hell. The wings looked like a bird flapping its wings.

The planes typically dim the windows for at least part of the flight, so sun is pretty much never an issue regardless of where you are in the plane.

Depends on the plane you're in, only one ive been in that does that are 787 dreamliners, otherwise its a shutter window. But i am flying in a 787 anyways.

While you are in Okinawa, I cannot recommend the Gyokusendo Caves in Okinawa World highly enough. Honestly, all of Okinawa World is fantastic, but the caves are downright ethereal. It is my single favourite place to visit in Okinawa.

Kokusai Dori is also fun, if very touristy. Peace Park and the Himeyuri Girl's School memorial are also very good, if somewhat soul-searing, visits. Both are part of Okinawa's World War II memorials and they do an excellent job at driving home the scope and scale of the damage suffered by the island and the tragedy of war overall. Not exactly a light and happy trip, but one worth seeing.

I do have what I am doing figured out all the shore days on my cruise, done through the cruiseline

I only did Tokyo but that's the right idea for Tokyo - don't overbook yourself. I had a few things planned (pokemon cafe, tokyo tower, etc.) like you but left the rest open. Truly insane how much there is to do.

My one bit of advice - on the outbound flight, don't sleep. It will help immensely with jetlag. You land in the afternoon, spend an hour or two or whatever in customs, transit to hotel, unpack, decompress a bit, get dinner, and at that point it should be late enough (9-10pm) to crash for the night. Even then, I still woke up the next morning at 4AM, but was totally energized all day and found myself on a regular schedule that next morning.

But yeah, aside from that, enjoy it. Coolest place I've ever been.

Thats the idea. Though with a pod seat on my flight there, might make it harder being able to lay down. But I generally dont sleep on planes.

Im flying out from YYC to NRT at about 3:10PM.
Flying Business class! Get a pod seat, window on the right side of the plane so my window is facing north. Sun shouldnt be an issue.

Sept 25th
I arrive in Tokyo at about 4:25pm and will make my way to my hotel in Shinjuku. Not expecting to really do anything much this day. I will find something for dinner, and maybe just check out a bit of night life before turning in early. I want to make it to at least 10pm.

Sept 26th
Catch a ride down to Shibuya, and go to the Nintendo store on EoW launch day! Just to check it out. Might go a bit further south this day to check out the Tokyo Tower.

Sept 27/28th
Find something to do, pretty much going to wing it.

Sept 29th
My bday! So I am going to party it up in Shinjuku this day or at least in the evening and at night.

Sept 30th
Just going to take it easy, but check out a few more sights
