Oregon announced yesterday that starting on the 23rd that teachers and seniors are eligible for the vaccine.

My moms still recovering from a stroke she had in October 2019 so this is good news for her and my dad.

Here's the deal. I get onto the bus today around and sat down towards the back. In front of me was some black mumbling a bunch of garbage. Since the bus was early we were at the stop for about 5 minutes.

I pulled out my phone to play with it and that's when the guy gets up. He turns around, sees me on the phone and tells me to stop recording him. I kept ignoring him. Next thing I know a bag of Doritos is thrown at my face (it was a heavy bag to) Heavy enough to knock my glasses right off my face.

I'm not one to confront someone but this pissed me off. I stood up and started b***ing his out. He kept threatening to come after me but finally left the bus. The bus driver did nothing to defuse the situation. According to him, the only thing he saw were all the Doritos on the ground. I pretty much tore him a new a$$hole and then sat down.

I stayed on the bus and contacted their customer service and told them what happened. I'm going in tomorrow to file a complaint against the driver for doing nothing.

Oh, and some idiot started eating the Doritos that were on the ground.

Like I just can't get stressed out about this stuff anymore. I'm just kind of over it. I remember following these topics religiously back in March, April, May, but Idk if I can go back to that.

I know we may be just starting to get to the worst of it, but people really need to try to do everything they can not to worry.

Follow every single precaution that you can though. Especially avoiding large groups and especially indoors. Even avoid small groups if you can. Just keep to yourself or household members. Wear a mask, social distance, wash/sanitize hands frequently. Just do all you can to be safe.

Beyond that, I've honestly just kind of made my peace. Part of this is still random. I also can't control how the community is contributing to the spread. I've just completely accepted that many parts of covid are just going to happen.

Pretty much this. I remember people on here back in the spring spreading rumors about stuff like martial law and other garbage just to scare people.

I was planning on applying at Amazon for the holidays but the thought of being crammed into a crowded warehouse scares me.

Amd Christmas shopping can be done online!

Havimg been to Louisville (and Kentucky) many times since I have family who lives there a state of emergency is a big deal for the entire state.

Its been a crazy/scary 24 hours in Oregon and Washington. There was a rare summer east wind event here and fires pretty much blew up all over the place. (The east wind comes through the Columbian river gorge)

Meanwhile California continues to burn as well. It looks like another small town was completely destroyed. And one fire was started during a gender reveal party (WTF??)

Oh, and it's been snowing in Colorado.

A good friend of mine down in the Portland area just got a positive test result back,

My brother n law got a scare this past week. He owns a power washing company in Portland and an employee had flu like symptoms last week. They do a lot of social distancing so my brother n law wasn't worried. My sister made him go take a test just to be safe. He got a negative result back while the employee tested positive. Luckily he only had mild symptoms.

My brother n law doesn't have any sense of taste or smell anyways due to a concussion he suffered a few years back.

You forgot Umatilla county with 64 cases. And you're always screwed when you eat at a Taco Bell.

Ome of the news stations here posted a map of the most infected zip codes in the state. Seems the majority of the cases in Multnomah are on east side of the city past 205.

Washington got some new restrictions in place feels like Phase 1 all over again since they cant keep it under control.

10 year anniversary is on Saturday

Had so much planned for it like a year ago

Now we're ordering takeout from our favorite fancy restaurant because it's closed for dine in.

Wifes birthday was this past weekend and we did takeout from her favorite restaurant.

We were also planning on going to Disneyland in early 2021 but I have a feeling it's going to get pushed back to 2022.
