Was surprised to see Harrison Ford being in the movie, that legit got me. I was not expecting that.

Thought the movie was gonna be a vague sequel, but its a straight up sequel and everything. So I guess the half replicant half human woman is hiding in plain sight or something? A lot of things about the movie are off, not unlike the original. Like how the corporation goon somehow gets away with killing police in a police station?

Disney's one of those rare cases where I'm actually willing to believe that there aren't any scandals they're hiding because they have been so historically anal about maintaining this pristine image. If they weren't so strict in every other aspect of their business it would be a bit more suspicious but I think they just recognize that as a company specifically targeting kids, a child abuse scandal could ruin them.

As for those people going off the deep end, that's just child actors in general.

Am I reading too much into it? Looking at some 80s movies like coming to America. The love interest was lighter skinned than her much prettier sister. And on fresh prince why was Hilary considered the pretty one when Ashley was much more beautiful.

Its weird how this series suddenly gets so much better starting with the 4th.

1st one is okay, 2nd one is meh, and 3rd one has Philip Seymour Hoffman as a good villain but meh everything else.

Then the 4th one comes in with Brad Bird magic, the 5th one is good and the 6th one builds on the 5th one and is even better.

Never seen that happen with a series before.
