That said, I do think you could make a good movie around Mister Sinister as long as you find the right actor. I did some research and apparently this is another concept album (yall really like those, huh). This one is about the devil massacring a town in Mexico. I guess I didnt need to know that to enjoy it which I am, generally speaking but it helps inform some of the content. Why is the devil killing people? Did he get bored in hell? Perhaps these questions will be answered.The backstory (such as it is, and as I understand it) is all in the first minute or two of Devil in Mexico - he stops by a town, visits the bar for a drink or five, and as he leaves someone shoots him in the back. With his dying breath (except it's not actually his dying breath, because he's the devil) he curses the town and swears his revenge, and the rest of the album is all the terrible things that happen to the townsfolk. Fun fact: "Who will survive, and what will be left of them?" was a tag line from movie posters for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The band members watch a lot of movies, and references to them creep into song and album titles from time to time. As time has gone on, Adam Turla has sung deeper and lower, to the point that I sometimes think he sounds like Store Brand Johnny Cash. You may like that more - I think his voice is pretty perfectly suited to the songs on this album, though. You picked a pretty solid top 3, though I'd be tempted to put Killbot 3000 and Three Men Hanging up there too - I absolutely adore the instrumental breakdown in Killbot, and Three Men Hanging is just a vibe. I don't know if he'd be a strong enough candidate to win a 2028 general against a generic Republican, but barring any sort of scandal between now and then I'd be comfortable holding my nose and voting for him.
