Yeah I've never watched sports but I work with enough people that I understand it being popular. It's just dumb how much it costs to only subscribe to sports. It's a ripoff, probably one of the aspects that turned me off it.

Nfl Sunday ticket is ridiculously expensive on YouTube tv I enjoy watching sports but Im not really somebody whod spend every penny for some sports package that rips you off every way

why do people keep forgetting Marvel/DC are IP farms. Its what they doother comic book publishers are different but they exist to promote outside products such as films tv shows toilet paper and toys. Most manga is not created just to sell underwear or soda pop

The vast majority of them do. And because of how badly both companies have sucked for more than a decade now, it's hard to ever have enough faith to ever get invested in anything they do now because there's always the sneaking suspicion that even the good stuff will be ruined eventually.

2011 was pretty much the death knell for both Marvel and DC in terms of the last time either of them put out anything worth caring about.

i read plenty of comics through the marvel unlimited app and Ive read comics after 2011 that arent dogshit such as black cat or Carnage 2015

Manga tells stories I can relate to.
Comic books are about super heroes - something I can't at all relate to and greatly dislike.
Comic books have nothing like, 3-gatsu no Lion, Shimeji Simulation, or My Home Hero.

American comic books are more than superheroes just look at image comics. They publish plenty that isnt superhero related

Theres a lot of comics released by marvel/dc though Its hard to say all of those suck some do but not all of them. Sadly people online would prefer to be angry than happy. Negativity YouTube videos on comics get more attention than positivity ones

When I had had a free month, I used it to catch up on CBS's Sherlock show, "Elementary." After that I ran out of things to watch on Hulu, but even now they continue to send me offers to return, despite there being nothing worth my time or energy in their catalogue.

Im on a month trial and havent found much to watch that interests methe upcoming price increase doesnt help either

Yeah I admit I cut the cord a long time ago so back then I was paying like $100ish for expanded cable without any premium channels like HBO. That was probably back in like 2017 or something like that it appears the cost has gone up big time.

They have and cable schedules have turned to crap Way too many channels that marathon a certain show nonstop

Netflix
Max
Disney+
Apple+
Amazon Prime

That is well over $100 a month, even if you divide the Amazon Prime a bit since it provides a lot of other things.

Paying for dish costs far more than that per month and most of the channels are showing low tier garbage or reruns of stuff like the office non-stop

Hulu is fine, I would get the ad free but I believe they are about to jack the price up on it so it would be a better deal to get the bundle with Disney+. The live tv is fine, I used it the last 2 years for football and hockey season. Although, very annoyingly, if you record a program it still makes you watch the ads when you watch it, you can't fast forward through them If you are looking for TV streaming, youtube TV is better. If you want Hulu and Disney+ and tv streaming, then adding live TV is cheaper with Hulu.

@Archgoat yeah itll be around 18 bucks in October for ad free Hulu

I was considering getting it to watch futurama and animaniacs. But at this point it is basically just cable through your internet rather than the cable company.

The bundling options suck, the ad free versions are more expensive than they should be, and the live TV option is a cable package that defaults your package to having ads. I'm told there is an ad free with live option as well, but it wasn't giving me that option on sign up.

Decided not to bother with it for now. Only reason I still have disney+ is that I am currently grandfathered in at the 79.99 a year for adfree price. If that changes I'm dropping.

Ive been on the standard 7 day trial for Apple TV plus and so far havent really seen much that stands out as something I gotta watch

Theres now a promo for 2 free months although I still wonder whats really there to convince you to stick around

so far Ive watched some peanuts content and a little bit of hello tomorrow but Im having doubts Ill continue beyond the free trial

I think thats because Apple TV+ Only has exclusive content theres no filler shows/movies to pad out the library

I know of some of those but I don't know how good they are. There was also that show See which I've heard good and bad things about.

bad shows would probably be harder to shrug off on a service with less content than most but comments online paint This as a quality over quantity thing and that absolute stinkers dont flood the board like Netflix as a result

I don't know what all is on there, but it has Severance and Ted Lasso and they're both fantastic. The first season of Silo was also pretty good.
