Now I am wondering if the games will ever remember Machi, considering he is technically their sibling as well.

Edit: Wait what? First Trucy nearly strangles Apollo with her magic panties for shoving his badge in Jinxie's face and 5 seconds later you do it again to progress?
Game... Please! Badge shoving is a tradition. Making it both a comedic "do not do this" and progression within 2 minutes, with the same character, is insanely counter-intuitive...

Also, 3 screens in, went through all talk and present options and now I am stuck?
Did the game mess up by not giving me explore options, or was that changed in such a way in the 3DS games that it becomes unintuitive on Switch?

What discord would that create? People are outspoken about both sides of the conflict, for good reasons.

And those are still wrong at times.

That was an amazing first case and despite being just an opener, it had everything. (Just comparing to Serenade here, since even on a replay, I felt like one barely learns anything about what actually happened, it just mainly focussed on the aftermath)

Also, that Confession music, was not expecting it to go that hard.

I also remember the books being read for, uhm, are they called "reading competitions" in English?, while I was in primary school. I am trying to think of the proper word. We have actual words in Dutch to distinguish between reading to yourself and reading out loud (perhaps with pantomine and voices) for others, but I really cannot think of the proper word in English.

Finished the original DS game after deciding I would replay that, before starting the games I had not yet played.

Somehow these games hit way harder now I am older. Although Serenade was still a slog. Mainly just the music parts, and the case feeling like one of the more linear ones.

I know very little of the 3DS titles. I looked up the chronological placement of the bonus/DLC cases and figured for Dual Destinies, playing it between chapters 2 and 3 would be best.

Also, what is with the obnoxious shipping and teasing of Apollo and Trucy in the first game? Playing it with full knowledge gets creepy and cringy at times. Thank goodness one of the things I do know, is that very anti-climatically, Phoenix just informed them in-between games, so there should be no more of that. It does not even have the Star Wars excuse, of only deciding the two are siblings in the sequel...

Still, pretty sure SD Gundam Battle Alliance had a demo that I tried out before getting that one, will wait for the Demo for Gundam Breaker 4 and tried. that.

Still, as much as I love Gundam. Only a new Musou and Super Robot Wars titles are immediate buys for me.
Although, it could pull a Cross Rays and do what that game did to convince me to buy it.

Also, if it is not a 3rd Person Shooter with Melee elements, the gameplay really does not come across as what it is, from watching gameplay videos on Youtube.

Logging in to my South-East Asia PSN account, it seems rther expensive still (Breaker 3). (Wait, ~50 when the sequel is already out, what?)

Ooh, but Memory of Heroes appears to be on sale...

Still, what I have seen of Breaker gameplay, it is more of a shooter with light melee elements, than the type of games the musou games are and I enjoy more.

Gundam breaker 3 is better than all of those combined.

Just do the next Gundam Musou already, or even some type of Orochi Musou Z amalgamation of the first games...

Maybe as an European I see Chuck Lorre shows differently, but to me they always came across as self aware, tongue in cheek, mockeries of US culture.

evo? definitely. it would be awesome to see someone give that concept a shot modern tech and quality of life changes.

Between the two original games, there are definitely some concepts that deserve a modern spiritual successor. I do not think straight up remakes of either would work as a modern game.

Breath of Fire and Sengoku Basara, two amazing series that Capcom seems to keep forgetting exist.
