I just mean, especially in Britain, those parents are extremely organized. Only a matter of time before more of Europe considerably changes laws regarding minors and gambling and the acknowledgement that loot boxes are gambling.

If Blizzard really wants to be on the wagon that those children were to blame for their own deaths and not the companies that facilitated their gambling and debts, then I suppose that is as nice as any a hill they are going to find to go out on.

Then they can take on the parents who lost their children as a result of gambling debts, I doubt even Blizzard could win that collision.

Strict regulation is happening, just very slowly at a country by country basis. If only Belgium and the Netherlands could convince the EU to make it EU law, that might speed things up a bit.

"Freedom to not be part of the US", sounds like a very nice freedom to have to me. What they do with that freedom is their choice. If they decide to do something inherently wrong with that freedom, that would just damage their credibility as an independent country.

It would be more complicated than that given that there is no right to secede in the constitution and we established it's not a right states have.

That seems contradictory to the constant American cries of "FREEDOM".

A lot of the World supports countries seceding. The rest of the US can also chose to just not go to war. If Texas were to declare independence, and the US were to declare war on them for that, the US would be the one that started the war, not Texas.

If it is about oil, EU right now sounds obvious.

National Identities can be a reason why people might want to risk such a thing.

Also, separating from a country does not mean having to become entirely self reliant. The new country just needs to set up proper relations with other countries, including the one they seceded from.

How is that crazy? Many countries have talk of that, countries much smaller than the US.

That's crazy that they actually put in there that they want to vote on secession.

Why? Part of Democracy and Freedom to atleast ask the populace.

Not to mention, in my opinion, the world could definitely do with some larger countries falling a bit apart.

As an actual answer, probably combinations. "Sibling of Parent", "Spouse of Sibling of Parent" and "Friend of Parent".

For that I would need to realize it was an organizations. I read it as I have older brothers, but no older sisters. So I interpreted as "big bro" being the only brother and being older than hypnox, the oldest sister.

Considering family relationships are (historically) mostly dictated by biological sex, it is not really weird that many languages miss gender-neutral versions for those words.

Many languages actually have much more specific terms, depending on whether the family member is on the paternal or maternal side of the family and I am pretty sure it can branch even further.

I use wooden toothpicks.
