Amazing run yesterday as Deb pulled it off! After surviving a tough challenge in the playin from Lumen and Rita, she came from behind in the Final to upset Hannah by 2 votes. With that she's officially B8's choice to run away with- no small accomplishment given how much this board has always had a crush on Yvonne Strahovski.

For today's poll we're considering recurring characters who appeared in more than one season, outside of the Dexter/Deb/Hannah triangle we explored yesterday.

I appreciate all the fun gaming discussion but you gents are missing The Story of the Year. Our long international nightmare has finally arrived- it's a cat world now, we're all just living in it!

Yesterday's upset shouldn't have come as a shock given the way results have been trending, and also how it had been five years since they last went to war, but the result still stings bitterly for all Doggie Diehards like myself.

Wow what a nailbiter this has turned into! And honestly I'm glad this is the final, since the drama of making this exact choice is what drove the final two seasons.

After a week of no-doubter blowouts, yesterday's poll was super diverse. Deb held the lead wire to wire, but she had strong challengers in Rita and Lumen, both of who finished just a couple votes back. Even Lila had a pretty good showing. The only option that didn't get much love was skipping the girls entirely and lone wolfing it; looks like B8 has learned their Lumberjack Lesson!

Will today's final showdown against Hannah prove just as competitive? Let's find out!

Never watched this, but now I wonder if this is why it was pooular.

No, the show gets cold feet and runs away the the incest angle almost immediately (Dexter says he only loves her as a sister), and Deb is just embarrassed about having said anything the rest of the time. It wasn't like Game of Thrones where the twincest was a driving theme.

The Ice Truck Killer got off to a pretty good start yesterday, but Trinity piled on the votes in the back half of the poll to run away with the title of Dexter's Ultimate Big Bad. In the end he won the battle with a perfect, you guessed it... tripling!

I'm voting for & always really liked Isaak Sirko.

Great actor, great scenes, and has the benefit of only being around for like, 6 or 7 episodes so doesn't get dragged out over the full season. Also like "the hunter becomes the hunted" dynamic, though it later morphs to "frenemies of convenience", but yeah.

Totally agree, he was one of the biggest highlights of the second half of Dexter's run, and in large part it was because he didn't overstay his welcome.

Crazy Lila and Mob Boss Sirko made valiant efforts, but the winner of our Big Bad Playin was always going to be The Ice Truck Killer. Now he gets to go head to head against Trinity in the Ultimate Battle of the Bads!

Doakes was antagonistic from day one, to be sure, but for the poll I'll be using the more general definition of someone who impedes the progress of our protagonist.

Ehh, that's too harsh IMO. If we're being honest the show has been messy and a bit silly since at least S2... by the show's logic I think New Blood makes as much sense as anything in the original run, and if it sticks the landing on Sunday I think I'll enjoy it more than anything since S4.

Lundy wasn't really an antagonist at all. No more than any of the other cops.

I'm awarding Lundy antagonist role for the cat and mouse game between Dexter and himself. Dexter ruins the dead body tent, falsifies evidence, writes the fake manifesto, etc, but Lundy keeps seeing past the deception and narrowing down the search to just the police department.

He similarly played cat and mouse with Doakes and later Deb and later LaGuerta, so they'll be in the Antagonist But Not Baddie poll as well. The other members of homicide were going after the Bay Harbor Butcher to some extent, sure, but they didn't go head to head with Dexter in the same way.

Day 2 is LIVE, it decides who was the baddest of the Big Bads!

I don't think Mickey is a good answer anymore. Yes Disney's bought out everything under the sun in the last 20 years, but they're not pushing the mouse on everyone like they used to. Unless your family has been to a Disney theme park, I don't think he's that much a part of your 5 year old's life like he used to be.

Right now I'd go with Santa or Mario for the top spot, Mickey third, and I'd put Garfield/Superman/Batman just off the podium in some order.

Terrible elimination, obviously, but pretty good choice on the first two.
