The only thing about dark souls is I really don't feel like dealing with people invading my game. I'm not in an environment where I can be glued to my tv 100% while I'm playing, but I don't want to play it disconnected from Live and I'd like to be able to see other people (not co--op necessarily but the ghost figures and notes and whatnot).

More Dead Island (still waiting on some people to play with since randoms almost always break the game with hacks and whatnot, so I've been playing it in single player mode)

It's happened twice this week. Just sitting there, on the wall, not moving.....like it's just waiting for me to kill it....
Which I do of course. Though, a couple weeks ago, my gf and I were sitting here watching stuff on youtube and, I swear this is true, I look up and a tiny little spider (one of those furry little black ones) is literally just hanging there in front of my face. Just hanging there, on it's thread. I'd swear it was watching the videos b/c as soon as my gf got me to notice it, and I went "wtf!?" it started slowly coming down towards my desk like it was saying "I need to get out of here, quick!" I squished it. I don't mind spiders if they stay hidden away and do their job of killing other insects, but man....when they come out and I see them scurrying along, I have to kill it. Another time, we were sitting on the couch watching Scrubs and I felt something hit my shoulder. I thought my gf had just tapped me to be funny until I felt something crawling on my arm. I jumped up and flung my arms wildly about to make sure it wasn't still on me. We looked around for a minute and couldn't find it until she was like "babe.....it's there....on your armrest..." It was just sitting there hoping I wouldn't see it. I squished it. Idk why I'm sharing all this. Apparently Ebert said it was like Transformers but everything that happened (big bada booms and whatnot) actually served a purpose and there's a real final part of the movie instead of it just going off on a whimper.

So....we're still going by Nielsen ratings, or is this a different system?
Either way...how are we not able to track people who watch it online and add that to the totals? It makes no sense.... I mean, I know that ratings are more of who saw the commercials, not the actual show since that's what makes the networks money, but services like Hulu still show commercials to paying customers, so you'd think they'd be able to add in that audience (of which my girlfriend and I are part of since we can't watch it together on Thursdays). Lean forward and off one cheek. Wipe a couple times before the "final" wipe where you check to make sure it's all gone (which you don't even have to do all the time as you can usually feel if there's anything left) with all wipes being from behind, front to back. It's not that hard. Just had my first experience tanking as a warrior. Did SM twice, got a few good upgrades and one awesome one (that I promptly chanted to +3.....f***ing chant system.....failed like 4 times...that was 2 gold...). Loved tanking with a good group, but it worries me that we're pretty much a dodge tank and most people are going to want a lancer bc they can just sit there and hold a button. I'm 27. Still haven't grouped. Ended up skipping the first dungeon entirely (which I didn't really intend on doing, but queue times for dps were long and no one in the guild was running it).
I joined Caprica, the largest guild on the server, and while it's strange joining a guild without knowing someone before hand, or knowing exactly what I want to do with the game, it gives me more quests for guild tokens that I can use to buy gear, and everyone I've talked to in it has been pretty cool so far. I died for the first time sometime overnight this morning. I think I was 21, maybe 22. Decided to try and solo one of the BAMs (the first one you get a quest for) and I would have had it if I had remembered my agro shadow ability and been using it the entire time, but I slipped up. I did get the big bad guy down to 66.6% (no joke) before he decided he'd had enough. Thinking about starting a healer to run with you Ayu since you're all tanky tank and only playing him/her when you're on or when I need to catch it up to your guy, but I'm not sure how directional healing really works so that may fall through and I may just make another dps (ranged this time) to run with y'all. Messed around with the broker system (basically the auction house), and it's nice that each main city of a quest zone has a couple brokers in it so you can take care of that without having to go back to the primary capitol. Enchanting is.....interesting. Working on my alchemy, leatherworking and weaponsmithing right now as well. I'm loving the glyph system they have for modding skills, and the limitations put on it by the point system.
