It can be either one for me, but they would need to excell at different things.

For the open world, I'm really going to be needing a lot of freedom. And a lot of weird paths to go down. There would need to be a lot of cool features that help craft your own story.

For the linear one, if it's gonna lead me along with a story it needs to be a really awesome story.

Naturally, with either of these the rest of the game has to be sufficiently solid. But with open world I'm looking for richness and depth to my freedom, and linear I'm looking for richness and depth to the story.

So really I don't prefer one over the other, it has more to do with if a game of one category does what it does better than the other one does what it does.

The people behind the crypto currencies are going to crash the market in the days leading up to the holidays. They figure that the combination of it crashing and the overall high suicide rate of the holidays will lead to maximum casualties.

I'm gonna go in blind too. I just hope they didn't get the wrong idea about their critical acclaim and awards and shit for San Jupujaro. I'd hate to see the show as a whole pivot in that direction.

This would be cool if people were generally well-mannered and civilized. You could communicate right of way in questionable situations, let people know you're aware they're trying to get over and are going to let them in, etc. But in reality..

It's most likely just to see if you're capable of writing something without it sounding like hot garbage. There are a lot of people who can't even get a coherent sentence out, let alone string together an entire thought.

It will also weed out the people who would scoff at putting in a meager amount of effort. Not a bad strategy overall.

Or, they are just using an application format they thought looked good, and won't even bother reading them.

Try to play darkest dungeon on PC. You don't even need much of a PC to make it go. I absolutely love that game but the interface on the ps4/vita is pretty rough.
But maybe if you don't play it on PC first, it isn't so bad.

They're very different games. Doesn't really matter the order as long as you play both. But maybe go shovel knight. There will be points in darkest dungeon where you'll want to give up. It would be bad if you had another awesome game to immediately give it up for.

I remember them making a few key changes that really pissed me off. There were a few other changes that seemed unnecessary and completely changed the tone.

It was upsetting, especially considering how long they waited to make it in order to "get it right".

I liked it a whole lot. Good stuff, lots of ponder material for after its done.

It's common to give an NOS diagnosis early on and then later specify a specific one.

In your case I assume they clarified it to Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

This one time in GameStop, I overheard a couple teenagers trying to figure out what game to play next. They had just finished Final Fantasy 7 and declared it as the greatest game of all time. This was interesting, as they were about 16 and this was probably in 2010.

Anyway, a GameStop employee and I teamed up to try and convince them to purchase Final Fantasy Tactics. I gave an impassioned speech about my favorite game was also FF7, until I played FFT.

Ultimately, they did not heed our advice and went with some garbage PS1 era rpg I had honestly never heard of.

To this day, I wonder if there was anything else I could have said to change their minds.
