Another year and gift topic in the bag!

This was the most eventful one yet. Tons of prizes and a bit of drama to remember.

Thank you to all those who participated and special thanks to all the bonus prize givers. It really brings out the best of this board when people are able to put issues and political stances aside and just enjoy each others company. I wish more people would participate in this. I feel like they would be way happier for it

Have managed to turn my wishlist into a near 500 game roster that made one of my friends go "you can't play that many games." My only response was "I can't but we can, comrade #familyshare."

No one needs to gift me anymore, but I will not turn down generosity from those wanting to give.
I, myself, am tapped out on funds, but this is also the most I've ever given in gifts in one go ever.

Quite a few trash games release items that seem to be mainly used for money laundering. They tend to pop up in the market sidebar every now and then.

I've SEEN some of those go down back when I played CS:GO. Some INSANSE cash amounts going around for odd numbers where they buy the $.05 items and sell it all for like $.50 each to the same guy.

Soma's great. Story really sticks with ya. Try to go in as blind as possible.

All I know is the Amnesia Devs made it, and I LOVED watching playthroughs of those (never bought them, it was during a time where I didn't have time to play but plenty of time for watching) Super excited now!

My wishlist is getting a bit too large now, lol. I keep adding all the cheap stuff going "Either me or my GF will play this ONE day!"

NYE for me involves 2 bottles of vodka, a bottle of fireball, and another bottle of rum with coke.
My girlfriend doesn't drink, medical reasons, so I drink for her every NYE cause she thinks I'm funny drunk.

Couldn't resist, was gonna boot it up, then saw you'd added it to your wish-list yesterday via the library page and said, yeah, I'm doing it lol.

Lol, it went from peer pressure to make me add it all the way to forcing it on to me after! Still chuckling about it over here. I'll keep it in mind and message you when I load it up for the first time!

Just got home from work. This is wishlist post #3 for me. Added a bunch of games my girlfriend would also play, as we share the account together.

Filler post, does anyone else who plays the Pokmon TCG think there needs to be counters for all the status effects instead of needing to flip the card a specific way? My nephew and I were playing a match yesterday with the deck he got for Christmas and he kept getting confused with which way the card needed to be flipped for which status effect.

They really do need counters. The damage counters were always nice (I have the OG half marble looking ones!) and even if it was just holographic cardboard chips for statuses it would be MUCH better than card facings...

So I have fallout 76 on the top of my list. I've been itching for a fallout game but don't really want to replay the others again lol

In all honesty? I've played EVERY fallout game (official released ones) and even the fallout brotherhood of steel game on console was better. (The top-down action rpg one for ps2/xbox)
76 just feels like a massive grind with no reward. You have to watch hunger/water like you were playing NV on survival permanently and every npc/quest is pretty forgetable. I tried MULTIPLE times to try and enjoy it, and still cannot stand it. Faves are 2 and NV, the rest are fairly similar with console BoS being right above 76.
