I watched the movie. I was not at all familiar with the musical.

But to my pleasant, overall, I liked it. I discovered some new songs that make it to my playlist (Skimbleshanks and Mr. Mistoffelees , namely). The latter even legit made me cry.

It's too bad most of the movies feel like nonsense and the creepy characters need some time to get used to. And I don't think I really got used to them fully even by the end.

Definitely check out the musical whenever you can if you liked the soundtrack. No creepiness, all charm.

I choose Sister Night to be my double. Sorry about the multiple doubles, I missed that part.

As a furry and a fan of the musical, I'm going to try and see this with an open mind. Hopefully the wonky designs will just be an awkward step to better "digital fur technology" in the future.

I like how Dark Fate is supposed to be the "true" follow up to 1 and 2 and shunts the other movies into an alternate timeline, and yet it has the most "alternate timeline" style plot in the franchise. If they called it "Terminator: What If?" maybe people would be okay with it.

I mean, it is called "Dark Fate," i.e. the worst timeline.

I guess this wasn't explicitly stated, but I always sort of thought that freezing Han in carbonite was an untested, one-time thing the Emperor did as improvisation, not a standard method of prisoner transport.

It might have caught on after a few years once it was proven to be safe.
