Seems this is a prequel as well. Less hyped for that.

Somehow in a show about psychics and D&D monsters coming to life I simply couldn't take two civilians getting into Russia let alone storming a Russian prison during the Cold War and coming out alive along with the person they're trying to rescue believable at all. Everything that happened during that plotline I was just kept going "how?" Which puts it below the California plotline for me.

Leading with the Rem/Knives stuff straight away is interesting.

Lyon in Eirika's route is relatively boring while in Ephraim's route he's much more interesting. Overall I'd say evens out to a mediocre 6.5 for me.

God damn I still get choked up thinking about Donna's exit and when the Doctor realizes Donna believes she's not special..."shouting at the world cause no one's listening" I don't think any companion will come close to topping Donna for me. I actually don't know if they're capable of it anymore but we'll see.

I've disagreed with plenty here but glad we can agree that season 4 is the best season for all the reasons you've said. 2nd half of season 3 was where things clicked for me and didn't let up in season 4. Good stuff, good topic!

Wasn't sure I wanted to be back after last year but definitely feel rejuvenated after this year. So I shall be back with the Bears to foolishly try and build off this success.

Vincent and the Doctor is my favorite episode. I wish they'd do more historical episodes. The Amy/Rory dynamic of season 5 is sooo good. Rory is probably my 2nd favorite companion.

Season 11 (and 10) aired when I was working 3rd shift and still watching it with a group of friends and I would routinely doze off during some episodes.

I really should rewatch 12 and 13's run cause I've seen 9, 10, and 11 multiple times but the other two just once...and sleeping through some episodes at that. >_>

Oh I doubt I signed up for this. Bummer.

Name of the Doctor got me to watch the classic series. Whisper Men were wasted potential though. I agree with Ryo on this one. Smith is my favorite Doctor and we had very different reactions to him.

If I'm being honest, it more comes down to the writing than anything for me. All the Doctors have been good imo.

Yup season 2 is a very weak season. Rose is pretty bad like you mentioned. And it doesn't help that it contains the single worst episode of Dr. Who in Fear Her plus a couple other bottom tier episodes. Looking back to when I first watched the series, I remember not getting the hype after I finished season 2. I saw potential but it hadn't hooked me yet. Glad season 2 didn't sour me on the series though!

I really liked the premise of the Flux and it started out very good imo. Swarm reminded me of a Buffy villain which was pretty cool but in the end he didn't amount to much sadly. Still thought Flux was Jodi's best season sadly.

Season 6 certainly isn't my favorite season but of Matt Smith seasons I like it more than 7 and I'd place it higher than all of Jodi's season and probably most of Capaldi's and Season 2. I agree with your highlights of the season though I'm a huge fan of The Doctor's Wife so heavy disagreement there.

Hey I watched this yesterday! Thought it was really good!

Seems like a good choice! It's been so long since I've been caught up with Dr. Who. I finally watched the last season recently but I think I'm missing some specials or something still. Dunno, haven't been motivated to watch it really. It's been one of my favorite shows in the past but with all the breaks and kind of lackluster stories it's been hard to keep my interest going.

Well after years of being the only Steins;Gate trader I was certainly surprised to see another one pop up, thanks, duck! Writing had been on the wall for awhile now though that this was gonna be the finals. Dunno if I'll be back for this next year, bit of a stressful time commitment and I don't think Steins;Gate can win but we'll see. Dunno if I'll be voting in the finals either.
