Yes. Everything with more than four legs would vote to end womens suffrage and to give tax breaks to everyone who is white.

These don't have legs though.

Mineral, plant, bacterium, or fungi are each known for not having legs at all. Wouldn't they be more animal the greater number of legs they have?
Close enough tbh.

No, the lower bound of legs for animals is 0. If you have -1 legs or fewer, you are not an animal. More than five legs makes you not an animal, but that doesnt mean everything with 0-4 legs is an animal. Also minerals arent alive so they cant be animals.

The requirements asked for a college degree, but honestly it seems like it only requires some basic knowledge of Word/Excel and the ability to file stuff away in a particular filing system. I'm sure a few years work experience would've been able to replace my degree.

its not as self explanatory as you think lol. so you do only listen to singles?

If I enjoyed the Macarena, why wouldnt I spend a few minutes looking to see if I like another song by the same group? I liked the song Somebody that I used to Know, so I listened to some more Gotye, and found an artist I enjoyed. Like 90% of the artists I like I began listening to because I knew one song by them (a single, from a commercial, from a playlist, from a soundtrack, etc), and was interested in hearing more.

I don't really see the point in listening to more of a one hit wonder's catalog. I'll hear people say "they're actually pretty decent" but everyone has at least some deep cuts that are better than the hits, it's not some weird phenomenon. There's no shortage of good music to find out there, I'm not gonna waste my time finding out if like fucking Smash Mouth is actually awesome
so do you only listen to singles? Or does an artist need 2 hits before you're willing to listen to their deep cuts? Seems kinda arbitrary to not listen to one-hit-wonders specifically.

Denver cost of living is not lower than anywhere in Texas to my knowledge, sorry to burst your bubble. It's not as bad as the coastal cities but it's still pretty ridiculous, lots of $1500 studios/1 beds, $600k houses, etc.
If I move to Denver, it'll be because my SO got a job there. And she's a six-figure earner, so I'd be okay making rent haha. I myself might get a higher salary if we move, too! I'm sure CO has a higher minimum than TX, anyway.

I worked part time gigs throughout high school.. I think only 1 of them paid the legal minimum wage
I needed a job after losing unemployment (my brother made being on unemployment for years look easy) so I started at 2 nights a week - cash in hand - at a restaurant
It moved up to 4-5 nights, sometimes both lunch and dinner shifts (12 - 13 hour days) which was about $100 a day + $100 or so tips every week or 2
Free dinner was the only benefit I think as health coverage works differently in Australia

It was enough to help out my girlfriend with her rent and bills after her roommate up and ditched her, then when we split my costs where deduced, I managed to save and moved to the US

Over here I've worked a good paying job with few hours, a crap paying job with lots of hours and eventually a good paying job (started at $13, it's now about $21) with guaranteed 40 hours a week

Only issue I have right now is that like a lot of other businesses, we're short staffed which means more work for everyone else :/
I'm glad you're making it happen! Being overworked and short-staffed sucks, and is unfortunately a thing a lot of places are experiencing right now. Have you tried asking for a riase? My mom works for a business that is short staffed and unable to fill positions, and she got a decent raise when management felt that employees were becoming frustrated with the increased workload.

https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/i-was-only-pretending-to-be- r*******

2) Federal or state/local? Because the federal is... $7.25, whereas some areas are as high as $15.20
Texas keeps the federal minimum wage. $7.25. Texas has a lower cost of living than a lot or places with higher minimums, so I figured saying I made 2.5x minimum provided more context than "$18 per hour"

Which is understandable, since as your career progresses your money should going up.
I'd take a pay cut for better benefits tbh

...which is sad.
Yeah it is sad that this country has a lot of disparity in resources, education, and aid for minorities and women. But you get by with what you got. Or you die, I suppose. A lot of poor people die because they're poor. That's sad, too.

Well, if it's 2.5x the federal that's still under $40k which isn't terrible in most red states although it doesn't go nearly as far in most blue states (where the minimum wage is higher anyway)
It's definitely not "terrible". It comes out to about 36k, and in 2019, the median personal income in the US was about 36k. In Texas, it's closer to 31k. I just feel that I have a strong enough skill set to have a better job and be getting paid more. Maybe in a few months I'll find something better.

Dani was a weird poster but always seemed like a good person. I hope nothing bad happened but given that she spent years posting every single day and then vanished immediately, it's hard to stay optimistic.
