Yes that is all very simple stuff you posted there, but there is really no real harm in at least have a conversation with the girl. yes you leave yourself vulnerable to be hurt again but if approached with the right attitude it can add clarity and help him move on if he decides there isnt anything there.

Perhaps she realizes she made a mistake and they can move on stronger, shutting the door to her invitation just closes you off from any possibility other than not being with her.

I was in the same trade myself doing the 5 year apprenticeship program. Except my union didn't provide steady employment. Of the few jobs they sent me out most were 80+ miles one way. On my first year when I did have work I was driving 80 miles to the job site, 90 miles to class, then 35 miles back home (Class was 2-3 times a week).
By the time I reached my 4th year I had just enough work hours accrued to make 2nd year pay. Got fed up and quit.

Damn, were you doing it back in the recession of the late 00s cause I know work was real bad around here then. Work is real good now, constant new construction project. Sorry you had that experience

I do some welding but Im a steamfitter and plumber by trade.

Getting an extra $4.25 an hour. Next year when I graduate and become a journeyman Ill get a raise double that amount.

I love being in a union, the big yearly raises you get as an apprentice really makes the experience impactful.

Nice ate some a month back and had a really nice time. Got a buddy that grows them.

Now youre just making stuff up. It is law that the cleanliness and functionality of public utilities must be maintained. You are attempting to compare something that falls under regulations to the habits of an individual. Doesnt quite track.

I know full well what a water fountain looks like. And they were shut down because of the pandemic, to help prevent the spread. I was in a store last week and saw it being used. Considering that the earth is continuing to heat up due to humanity's inability to care about anything but itself until something hits us hard, I doubt they'll vanish. You're full of it.

Im just going to chock this up to being a regional thing because they are practically phased out here. Not sure why youre so mad, but hey try to have a good day.

They're around in lots of places, stores, malls, hospitals, libraries, parks, amusement parks, etc. Idk where you got this idea that they're some super rare thing. Plus most people refill their water bottles with cold water.

More often than not they dont function in those places. Amusement Parks definitely dont have them. Ive done a lot of work removing these utilities altogether, there is a push to get rid of them. I think youre talking about those bottle refill stations which are new and interesting but as I said refillable water bottles are dirty and are a breeding grounds for bacteria.

I guess I was thinking mainly of schools but yeah I guess they are still around some places. The ones at parks are almost always broken and the ones at grocery stores always look nasty.
