No screenshot cause ps3. I had most of this set done ages ago but I didn't have kill a skeleton or the ender dragon. Got some help last week to get this done. This versions going to be most memorable to me simply for running like absolute trash. The 360/ps3 versions suffer from worlds not loading right away which leaves the player waiting for the world around them to load. If you go too far bam you suffocate in the imaginary wall

Was also sitting on this. There is a lot to say, some of it would offend the sensitive gamefaqs crowd. So I'll keep it to this, Bugnax is my favorite game of the year. For a new ip to draw me this hard in with its world, characters and adventure is impressive, I'm a sequel guy because it usually takes multiple games to get your footing within a world.

I spent 15 hrs doing the 100% for Bugsnax and the entire time was a fantastic journey. I had my doubts of the game holding my interest very long but the game owes a lot to Darksiders. You may have raised an eyebrow there but hear me out! Darksiders at its core is an action adventure game but it borrows so many things from so many other franchises. It didn't care about being original, and I don't think Bugsnax does either but the execution of fun by making this giant dagwood sandwich makes it an experience to remember.

Gonna admit, was gonna use this for #200 but felt that I needed to throw points down rather than hold them.

Astro's Playroom is by far the best tech demo ever made. It also took me about 6-8 hrs so pretty good value for a freebie. Streaming this and going over all the amazing references with my viewers was really cool. There was only a few I actually couldn't name so proud of myself! (missed 4 total!)

If you like Sony stuff at all this is the greatest Nintendo game that somehow was made by Sony

Platinum #176 Legend of the Skyfish


This game really wanted to be zelda, like A LOT. Instead it is some bizarre Water World puzzle hell except all the puzzles are just follow the pathways. Remember how Wind Waker was all islands but they were massive to explore? Everything here is just narrow paths that end up maze like. Theres some minimal combat and the big hook is the ability to use a fishing hook to reel in enemies and stun them. Its dull.

The game consists of 3 worlds with 13 levels and 3 bosses. I've been slowly chipping at this for months cause ...well its not good and very dull.

Thats trophy hunting sometimes (stares at Mad Max looming over my soul)

Mayo 2 is the hot sequel of tapping X to the first game. Though now you can hit X + touchpad to speed up your taps. I ended up streaming this and reading the weird stories out loud. Had a few chuckles, worth the 99 cents simply for a fun hour on stream.

#174 Thunder Paw


This is an easy Ratalaika title but man Thunder Paw is a cool name. You only have to play the first two worlds so 12 stages and 2 bosses. The game plays like CT Special Forces for GBA but with an awful gun and a worse recoil knockback on every single shot.

Madden 20 is a really solid entry that was kinda trash at launch. But hey it eventually balanced out.

Face of the Franchise: This is the story replacement, it has about an hours worth of cutscenes...(all unskippable per EA tradition). You make a guy, must win 2 college games with the worst oline ever and then do the skills challenge. This is the real meat of this list as the skills challenge requires 24 perfect passes and failing requires you to restart and sit thru a 2 min cutscene.

Legacy: Every madden of this gen have these legacy trophies they are easy earned via simulation, some great guides out there

The Worst Achievement
-Triple Crown: EA loves this damn achievement and its just an RNG fest each year even when you have the right setup. You need to sack a QB, have him fumble and have that same player recover the ball

Grim Fandango is great though. If you dont mind that the gameplay loop for a 90s point and click is pretty slow and sometimes trial and error (there really isnt anything like it anymore) its a hell of a game you should absolutely play.
