I know this board (and indeed site) doesn't lean too hard towards PC gaming, but the game is really, really good and is worth bringing up. Saying something is 'like Dark Souls' is becoming a trite statement, but in this case the devs invite the comparison so whatever. It's like Dark Souls but re-stylized as a third-person shooter with a strong co-op focus. Strong atmosphere, fun gunplay and enemies, and perhaps the best sound design I've heard in a game to date. Breaking crates sounds like bringing the force of God down on a bit of wood, it's weirdly exhilarating. --- If you're only on this board to whine about "SJWs", please redirect whatever you type on to the nearest trash can. The Bayonetta/Vanquish bundle came out with two fully remastered games for 40 bucks. Yakuza 3-6 are 60 dollars. Persona 4 launched on Steam for TWENTY. | MechanicalWall 08/04/20 12:30:39 PM #22 | Tbh I had to put the game down after Day 3 and told myself that I'd come back to it later. I was astonished and kinda annoyed when I looked up how many days there were and saw the game takes up an entire week, because by the end of Day 3 I was getting exhausted. This is some of the best writing in a game, ever, but by the time I put it down I felt like I'd already read a couple of novels' worth of text and the game wasn't even halfway done. I feel the main murder plot isn't a strong enough presence to keep me fully hooked, and by the 90th pseudo philosophical conversation my eyes were starting to glaze over. --- If you're only on this board to whine about "SJWs", please redirect whatever you type on to the nearest trash can.
