For some reason I'm thinking of Arcanum: of Magick and Steamwork where you can talk or fight your way through the entire game and still finish it. Im trying to spec in drinking so my dude is constantly drunk and during dialogue he will sway in front of the screen and you see inside his head like something out of a nightmare If you progress through the MQ a bit you get some weapons training that boosts your levels a bit and it gives you a couple perks that can give you an edge during a fight.
