I had social anxiety, and the banding together of the soldiers in your platoon was near instant, there were 82 of us. I thought I was gonna be a snail and guys across the barracks were yelling at me and I was yelling back by week 2. I made some very good friends there too, one I still talk to. You will kind of get each others backs quick as none of you want to get burned by one weak link.

First few days was medical inprocessing for like 3 days. When you finally get dumped, all the drill sergeants scream in your face, and you do push ups until your muscles die, and then you do more. They make you run like 90lbs worth of boots and BDUs up 2 to 4 flights of stairs, and half of you will trip and fall. You'll get yelled at and need to do it again.

When you finally get to your bunk, you strap EVERYthing to your back and do push ups until your arms are dead and there's a pool of swear in front of you. Then you get a break for an hour to get your shit together.

It's a big game they can't hurt you, they can't kill you, and it's really just extreme exercise. Find a battle buddy quick.

Idk about Canada but here In American law enforcement security etc have to be tazed to qualify to carry a tazer. Just like I had to be pepper sprayed in order to carry pepper spray.

In the army you walk through a fogged tear gas chamber and find the door, where they keep it closed and laugh for a few seconds first. Then you go outside to a lake of puke, snot and saliva.. every fluid in your head and stomach pours out uncontrollably and it burns your eyes for a solid hour. Fun day in basic.

Not gonna quote you, but very hard disagree that Dragon's Dogma does weak spots on enemies better than Monster Hunter. Monster Hunter is a lot better in that regard, and much less clunky.

Also saying half of the classes aren't good isn't a big compliment. I'm not a hater of the game, but half of what you said are negatives without you even realizing it sfc.

Can I ask what made the first game great? I played the first hour or so of Dark Arisen and then got kind of bored once I did the main few quests in the first castle/beach town.

I'm keen to give the 2nd game a fairer try but dont know why everyone thought the first game was great.

You could use other players big titty pawns and download them online and have them in your party, I think was the massive appeal of it.

Won't be buying Dragon's Dogma 2, I wasn't a big fan of the first one. It screams 60% off by Winter sale anyway, I can wait on it. I'm pretty convinced on buying Unicorn Overlord on day one, it looks good.

Hope it turns out good, first one is pretty overrated at this point, it was a solid 7 game.
