Do any of you guys have a Google Home or Alexa or other smart home device? I don't have any other "smart" accessories like lightbulbs/outlets/thermostats, yet, but this thing is worth the money just for being able to turn on and off my TV with my voice. Plus the other features are cool.

most of history played out the same but christianity never arose so europe stayed pagan. and now its modern america

so instead of settlers coming to America to escape Christian religious persecution, they came to escape pagan religious persecution and every thing pretty much happened the same?

Every week or 2, I hear this sound that goes on for about 5 min. It sounds exactly like someone is clipping their nails at their desk, which disgusts me and drives me crazy (probably a little irrational of me). I guess it's not the most unsanitary thing in the world assuming they have a trash can but it's still gross. Sometimes the clicking sound happens too frequently for it to be a nail clipper, so it could just be a pen or something, but it sounds just like a nail clipper and the frequency and duration matches the timing of how often someone would clip their nails. Either way, it's distracting.

That's what's on my plate today.

Here's mine. I don't have a game company that would take up the majority of my list but I'll do non squaresoft/square-enix stuff because that would take up at least 2-3

Pokemon Silver (could be any pokemon game really, but I still feel G/S/C added the most game changing features and were way ahead of its time)
Age of Empires II
The Witcher 3
The Last of Us
Resident Evil 4
Civilization 5 (could be Civ 4-6 but 5 is the one I've played the most)
Roller Coaster Tycoon
Dark Cloud 2
Rimworld
Don't Starve

consolation:
A Link to the Past
Breath of the Wild

I was talking with my buds about this, but here's the question. If you can add 3 characters from any video game over to be in the new smash.

Mine are:

1. Eevee. And after getting your final smash or playing for a while, you evolve into a new eeveelution, each with different overtone styles

2. Phoenix Wright

3. A kinda obscure final fantasy character. Not sure which one

Idk if n64 did anything like this, but I got this PS1 "jampack" which had demos of msg1, some skateboard racing game, and a few others. I played those demos over and over, more than a lot of my actual games.

STLCards1991 posted...
Another classic formative gaming experience that isn't nearly as common anymore: losing your save file. Ever since my Kingdom Hearts file got corrupted pretty deep into the game I've always kept at least two parallel saves in games where I can. And then there was DK 64 which just fully erased everything one day and I never really played it again.

I had pretty good luck with that, other than my original Pokemon blue cartridge
