ok so going back to how the Twins hit a HR in each of the first 7 innings, which is apparently the first time that's happened in MLB history. The fact that it's the first time is mind blowing to me. I googled "how many mlb games have been played" and it said there have been over 210,000 games played over 140 years. I know the game is changing all the time, but with that many games played, you would think that literally everything has already happened.

I just want to say that the Vikings played an incredible game. The offense looked good, and so did the O line. Defense played well but they didn't need to rely on the defense to win like they did last year. Diggs, Thielen and Bradford were awesome. Especially Bradford. That was probably the best Vikings qb performance since Brett favre

From what I heard, a furniture store owner in Cleveland had a promotion where if the Indians go on a 15 game winning streak in August or later, whoever bought stuff in July gets it all for free. He took out a 75k insurance in it, and the winners of the promotion got several million worth of stuff for free

also...smashburger is pretty decent, and they have sweet potato fries. I normally don't like regular fries very much, but sweet potato fries are v good

there is obviously a difference between straight up fast food, places like 5 guys, and then local places which are usually closer to sitdown places. I like all 3, but sometimes you wanna drive through, and sometimes you want to sit down and have a nicer burger

I think a big part of it is his longevity with one team. dude was drafted in the year 2000, which is pretty crazy even for a kicker, which is probably the least age affected position, if the player is good enough.

I also kinda think that SeaBass has always been perpetually over-analyzed based on him being drafted in the first round, which is insane for a kicker. If he was a UDFA, I'm not sure if the commentators comments would be the same.

Yeah it's not hard to find a decent kicker, but it's gotta be one of the most thankless jobs in the NFL. Sure, if the kicker makes a 57 yard walk off, everyone will love them, but most of the time, people forget about them, and the second they miss any field goal, they'll become one of the most hated players on the field.
