Are there any game stores near you? There are free ways to play online like cocatrice or untap.in that you don't need to worry about having a physical play group around.

Yeah I have the cell phone game and have played online before.. it's just not the same.

There are a couple comic stores around that do Friday night magic, but that shit is too serious. I just want a laid back non standard deck game. I'm sure I can find somebody there to play with me

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

Yesterday I had my mom and sisters and anybody who I could think of that interacted with him in a regular basis come by and say goodbye to him. I was always okay, and then once somebody would get there we would go see him and start talking and I would start crying. I've shed more tears in the last couple days than I have in probably about ten years.

Girlfriend and I woke up today and got ready. Nobody said a word. I wrapped him in a blanket and he was so cold and limp, breathing just barely, and with one heavy breath every ten seconds or so. I held him as she drove, telling him I loved him and thanking him for all he had done for me. I felt his tail moving, and then I felt it fall. We got to the vet and came in, and we all knew. He passed in my arms on the way there. The vet checked and no heartbeat.

I am glad he went the way he did. In my arms, in the sunlight. Not by a shot on a cold table. The vet left us alone with him and we cried.

We're getting him cremated and we're getting the ashes back. Today was easier than I thought it was going to be. I still cried but it wasn't sad cries, it was goodbye cries.

Rest in piece Bubbles. I'll always love you.

My Siren is 17 and about 2 years ago she stopped eating and was always hiding. We thought we were going to lose her, but eventually she recovered.

This scares the shit out of me. What if I do it and he could have lived for two more years? It's clear things are bad right now. Worse than they have ever been. But what if he could recover?

This is why I'm still on gamefaqs. I am not an open guy in real life, but sometimes you just need to tell somebody

And it's fucking tearing me up. I love him so much. He just turned fifteen and had a very quick drop off in health the past three weeks. He's taking medication and pain killers every day, I have to give him an IV ever day, and he's just getting sicker and weaker every day. He can't walk straight, he barely eats, and he just isn't happy.

I don't know what I'm going to do without him. I have held him and just cried my eyes out every day for like two weeks straight.

There is a lady nearby that comes to your house and puts your animal to sleep in a nice and loving environment, I think I may do that. I don't know if I can handle being there when it happens but I feel I owe it to him to be with him when he goes.
