The trial is a pain in the bloody ass

Since no one runs TT due to bonus units, and my Fry and Christine are useless due to elemental resist...got me a friend Kryla and there we go. Also, nice that the physical AoE is evadable for once.

No def+20%, but lol that

Well, the flowers and red screens alone aren't enough to figure the whole shebang out, but it gives a good amount of the pieces.

The final battle itself has revelations that fill in some of the pieces, as well as Asriel's dialogues in both the area he is after his battle and before Asgore in the Genocide route.

Also, going off by what you've typed and the quote above, it might have clicked if you read the red screens that popped up just after you talked with Alphys in the power room, but c'e la vie.

So, having gone through the True Lab, you know that Alphys went a bit mad scientist and did some experiments with the essence of Determination, trying to revive dead monsters( who turn to dust after they first die cause magic magic bullshit).

The Determination did lead to them reviving them...but, through probably bad interactions with magic and Determination or something, the revived monsters couldn't hold it and became the Amalgamates: Snowy, Lemon Bread, etc.

Now, calling back to Asriel's death, it was said that he died( with a combined human/monster soul, note) in the throne room, spreading his dust over the Golden Flower that he brought back from the surface( which is why the room is now full of them) . And since, well, parents would obviously jump on the chance to save their child, and the fact that, initially, the Determination experiments were going well... what is the only character in the game that is a flower?

Yeah, I'm a little curious about how leveling and promoting and such really works. Apparently it's a pain to get a unit to 6*? The game hasn't given me much information about this. Also, what's recommended for spending Orbis on at the Sanctuary? I'm guessing the Spirit Forest, since that's where my leveling materials for units and skills comes from.

From what I've messed with, stars act not only as rarity but level and boosting caps, with each star=10 levels and one node on the Awaken star chart. The pain comes from 1)needing characters of the star you want to promote to -1(so promoting from 3 to 4 needs 3-star characters as materials, 4 to 5 needs 4 stars, etc.) and 2) the last few nodes on the star chart needing specific "catalysts" as material.

As for breaths of Orbis, I heard the heart and the mission ones are decent.

Pretty much all my pulls have been disappointing, and the 5* rate is pretty bad!

I also dont like that you need to do one pull at a time and cant really skip the animation.

The friendship summons have their multi-pulls, but, from what I've heard,they removed it for the rare pulls due it leading to overspending or such; not much info I could find

No, but you do get something different(both in dialogue and reward) for killing as opposed to Pacifying.

Wasn't content with my Sephiroth start and decided to go back to rerolling. Have a new run with Reberta and Dark Fina. Not sure how they rate but I see they can both hit 7* which I take it to mean they're both at least respectable.

Reberta can do boatloads of damage. Especially at 7*.

Dark Fina is a bit outclassed now, but she's still a decent,versatile mage.
