Guys, this topic is bait. He asks you to answer a question "for a dummy" which means answering his question means you're flaming him because you're implying he's "a dummy".

hahaha is that how it goes around here now?

How old are you?
Don't feel bad that you're gaming in your later years if you are.
Sooner than later the video gaming industry is going to have to address and cater to the growing older gamer. We have the resources unlike younger gamers so I believe we're a priority.

i mean Im not THAT old lol. Im 30. Hopefully not my later years

Nice. U rich.

not really lmao as you can apparently tell by my less than stellar setup that everyone is up in arms about.

its a golden tee machine from arcade 1 up. Essentially an emulator in the form of a machine, but for something like golden tee, its still worth it for the bar feel with the trackball and everything. To get the current 2021 edition setup that they have in bars, youll spend a few thousand dollars. This thing I have sells for about $300 but I had a ton of Best Buy gift cards that brought it down to like $150. So I wouldnt say Im rich hahaha.

You even put in your op, "weird flex".

Please stop with your BS double talking.
Lmao.

oh please. I sarcastically put that because Im aware of how it sounds. But like I said I had a specific question that I was just looking for a quick answer to, which you guys did a pretty terrible job of doing.

Im not out looking for internet cool points on a gamefaqs message board which has a majority user base thats like on average 10 years younger than me

what's that lightshow next to your TV?

just some old green lasers from Spencers like 10 years ago when I was in college. Still going strong but those could use an update as well because they make ones that do such cool shit. Ive also got a rope light across the top changing different colors, got a neon bar sign, a Chicago bears lava lamp and a stereo that has lights that come out of the back and a faceplate on the front that makes it look like I.N.T.E.L.L.I.G.E.N.C.E. from Team America lol. So Ive got the lights covered haha

I'd think the vibration would slowly continue to pull it in one direction and cause it to either fall off or you having to constantly readjust it. I don't see why it wouldn't fit on the shelf next to the PS5 honestly.

it fit in there. Just a cramped fit and I dont want to hit the controller on the underside of the shelf above it. Not saying Im a complete klutz or anything but, things happen.

if its not bad for the electronics or anything (yes for some reason, thats what I was concerned with. Some sort of interference from the devices) then Ill probably keep it on the sub whenever Im charging a controller on it, and not put it on the shelf next to it when Im not. But it honestly has enough weight to it that it could sit on there even without a controller on it and it wouldnt shift around.

but anyway, thanks for being the one person to answer my dumb question. Ill see you guys in the next topic I make in like...5 years lol.

Your tv stand is literally the same level as your outlet.
It looks too low.

Get a bigger and better tv stand.
It looks like the setup I had in my room as a teenager.

It looks like a poor man's gaming setup but hey, you made this topic to humble brag so do you.

i really didnt make it to humble brag lol. I didnt say look at my dope setup. I like never use this message board and I literally thought I could get a quick answer to an oddly specific question, which apparently I was wrong about. The topic wasnt Rate my gaming setup because Im not out here acting like I have the greatest setup...lol.

Cheep shitty tv. PS5 probably cost more that it.

Anyway, back to your uh, question.
Everything looks like its already on the floor so just put it on the floor.

it was twice as much as the PS5 when I bought it in uh...2017 lol. I just bought my own house like 6 months ago and Ive been upgrading it bit by bit. Not like my TVs are terrible but I wanna sink a few grand into good living room and basement tvs so I wanna be in a good position to do that. Everything takes time lol. And why why I put the charging thing on the carpet?

Hang your TV instead. Also relocate your outlets so you don't have to see the cables. Now you can put your charging station on top of your entertainment set.

thought about it. The telescopic arm ones are expensive for tvs that big plus i intend to get a new one soon. For now, i like the little arm on it now you can swivel it and easily adjust the viewing angle. Youre only seeing a section of this room lol. Plus, I like the storage that the entertainment center provides.

Just got a PS5 (weird flex I know) and I got the controller charging station. Is there any reason that it would be bad for it to be sitting on a subwoofer?

its the best spot Ive got

pic relevant. Sub on right side of tv stand
