So I ordered one. It plugs into the soundbar just fine but in the tv, its super loose. So I went to switch it with the one in my bedroom and it fits my bedroom tv just fine but is super loose on the soundbar. So now its directly connected from my soundbar to my PS4 just like the one in my room is directly connected from my soundbar to my PS3. Its always something. But at least it resolved the issues. And I use my console for 95% of what I do and I guess for everything else like streaming things from my laptop Ill just use the TV speakers. Just like I used to do. My intention was to have everything output from the TV go through the soundbar but I guess not everything goes to plan lol.

Have you messed with the settings at all? Could be something as simple as that before you go out and buy new cables.

actually yes when I first got it before I messed with that, there was considerable lag between sound and picture and no matter how far up or down I turned the sound delay option, it still persisted. Then somehow I figured out by switching off the current input to a different one and then switching back somehow fixed the problem lol.

Probably?

Look for the cheapest one you can find, then buy the second-cheapest one.

thanks, bud

So I got a refurbished Vizio Soundbar and it sounds amazing. Only issue is a weird sound delay that I can fix by changing the input off the one Im on and then changing it back. It also sometimes turns off on its own. Its connected to my TV through the HDMI/ARC port but I wonder if thats the issue. Would an optical cable be better and would it fix these issues? If so, any optic cables that yall could recommend me?
