LtM, if you have PSVR and Tetris Effect goes on sale, I would recommend it just for the experience. Just play through The Journey on easy, you don't really need to like Tetris mechanics to get down with the audio-visual stuff, especially in VR. I think Brad made a really good point that Miz's stuff makes a lot more sense in VR.

I don't care for VR either. Roomate has it and I don't enjoy using it. Also don't like Rez.

So...in addition to fundamentally not enjoying Tetris...

There's really nothing for me.

Yeah there's a reason I don't like considering Despair Side Canon, because it ruins a huge part of DR2's reveals to me. The stuff here is even contradictory to a lot of it. Definitely feels like Kodaka just kind of dumped it out while doing V3

I've never plugged anything older than a 360 into this plasma, doesn't even have composite connections on it. Component is the obvious choice, but are there other issues playing this stuff on modern TV like this? Would it be better to get an HDMI convertor? And what's this I'm hearing about it being really tough to get HD GameCube cables?

It's...fine. I'm in a wierd place with it because it wasn't BAD, but I really don't feel like I got anything out of watching it at all. I see some people are saying "as good or better than Wonder Woman", which is crazy to me, because this is so by the numbers and generic. Probably the SAFEST superhero movie in a while.

The most entertaining thing about the movie was me and my roomate having no idea Willem Dafoe was in it, and upon realization making Green Goblin jokes whenever he was on screen.

If you haven't seen spiderverse there is no excuse for not seeing that first.

Vinny was choking up about Florence during best moment. I'm not knocking him for it, it was powerful, just unexpected. Maybe it connected with him in a way he didn't want to get into?

GB's #1, for the second year in a row its a game that means absolutely nothing to me. I have no affinity for Tetris at all and playing it has never had any impact on me. I can see why they as a site would pick it, it's a very Giant Bomb GotY if that makes sense.

Unlike all the other games they talked about save for RDR2, though, they brought out absolutely zero interest in me to ever touch it. They're operating on a very different fundamental idea that Tetris is inherently fun to begin with and a best game ever contender, while to me it's just another old game I don't care about, so we're just not gonna line up here. I doubt I ever interact with Tetris Effect.
