And some of the Empires games have the Ending editor which functioned the same way.

Have you guys seen the user reviews on Amazon? Yeesh. They don't sound like trolls, but disappointed fans.

It's pretty much circle jerk hatred and a bit of misunderstanding regarding the game. Too many people taking Sterling's word as gospel. This game also sort of contradicts the rest of the series whereas it doesn't provide that immediate satisfaction where you can jump in and out of a massive battle.

With that said, it's got it's issues and I sure as hell won't tell you it isn't broken. It's a bit of a mess, but it's a fun mess.

no, it runs like shit on all platforms so there's no platform i can buy it on.

It's been patched on PS4 if that's worth anything to you.

I have high-ish end rig that it runs decently on, but it does chug a bit during some of the more congested parts of the game.

A little bit of Yinping, Yue Jin, and Zhang Bao, but I've yet to do an actual mission with them.

It'll be awhile before I actually get around to Red Hare or Shadow Runner, but I did manage to find a Rare Horse today. I might not ever get Hex Mark lol

Oh, I think I know what you're talking about. It seems like that graphics glitch isn't too particularly uncommon, but I've yet to run into it, personally.

It is pretty bad. I'm sure it has to do with the wonky ass physics in this game.

Also, on that subject, if there's any nook and cranny your character might not fit into, chances are you probably can. It's helped me for navigating cities

I was wondering why I didn't get the scene of him finding the seal. I had no idea that was his ending. I switched to Huang Gai in Chapter 2 and then Sun Quan until I unlocked Gan Ning. Since then, I've unlocked my other favorites such as Yue Jin, Xu Sheng, and Guan Yingping.

Yeah, this game grows on you. A bit different from the other games where the focus is on immediate satisfaction. It helps when you get a grasp on mission structure and understand the combat.

No shit. I was talking about his historical career. Besides, Gan Ning's infiltration of Huan is included in the novel.

Also, I believe personal achievements are more about opportunity, but you can't replace temperament.

The ruthless motherfucker who walks around sieges like they're nothing and has no qualms about being the first to scale a castle wall is the guy I want to be my vanguard.

Plus, I just get a funny image of Zhu Guang shitting himself inside a castle knowing that Gan fucking Ning is coming for him. Probably not how it went down, but that's my head canon.

These are the kind of endings you get in this game. I guess all 90 characters have one. I'm a little sad that we don't really see the sinister assholish side of Gan Ning, but oh well. It's pretty entertaining.

Also, my recording software slightly darkens the screen for some reason I can't explain. So sorry about that.

The game doesn't "decide" to do anything outside of the react attacks; you're given control over the enemy's state. That's what the trigger attacks are for.

Yep, the combo chains seem to change after using the trigger attacks, but not as consistently as I'd expect from the way people describe. They also seem to randomly apply elemental effects to the normal attack chain once in a while.

No, the elements aren't random and yes, the flow attack adjusts to the state of the enemy after a successful trigger attack and they will also absorb the element of that trigger attack.
