sometimes i think about avoiding places that don't accept apple pay entirely because of this. it's pretty easy to obtain the info on your magnetic strip, i guess criminals install these at gas pumps and atms pretty frequently and they look really legitimate. i haven't even encountered a gas pump that takes the chip yet.

i'm working right now, so i'm going to take the lazy route and copy this from a relevant site:

VPN Connection logs generally consist of:
Incoming IP Address (Your computer's web address)
Outgoing IP Address (The ip address assigned to you by the VPN server)
Time Stamp (start/end of VPN session + duration)
Data Transferred (amount of data transferred during the session)

What are connection logs used for?
The purpose of these logs are usually for troubleshooting technical issues, making it much easier for the VPN provider to identify the source of connection problems for their subscribers. In some jurisdictions, data retention laws require VPN providers to maintain and store these types of logs for a specified period of time.

Contrary to popular opinion, the United States does not have data retention laws for VPN Providers and as a result, some VPN's like IPVanish have been doing away with logs altogether in the interest of user anonymity.

VPN Usage Logs
This type of logging covers everything else not included in a connection log. The data logged can pretty a cover a pretty broad range. Since a VPN has access to the same information your ISP (internet provider) has regarding your internet usage, let's look at some of the type of data some internet providers may keep in the U.S. as examples of the possibilities:

VPN Usage Logs Could Include:
Lists of websites visited
Files Downloaded
Software/Protocols used (Bittorrent, Netflix, Xbox, etc)

As you can see this type of logging can be much more invasive to your privacy.

definitely agree on saturated fats and hfcs. i noticed once i started counting calories real meals were preferable to empty calories when faced with the choice. once i became aware of how much of a caloric cost was incurred by junk food and sugar i cut it out almost entirely.

i know the greatest thing in life to eat.... that mushroom film on top of the fermenting kombucha. i heard that tastes really good and gives the best colonic of your life. going to feel like a million bucks after it.

sounds amazing though i've never had kombucha in my life.

Pretty sure bronyism is still a thing and has not died out like emos have.

emo is still pretty alive, you probably just wouldn't recognize them if you saw them because most of the musicians look pretty normal. mall scene kids have all grown up and died out though.
