With Disgaea they are probably long gone. All anime or game related collectible sets are printed once or twice then done for. They should be dirt cheap online though.

Unless you are Magic or Pokemon or Fantasy Flight Games, you need some big social media power to keep your collectible game going. Real big.

Note: Wingspan Revised would probably be #1 if back in November 2018 a time traveler told us the New York Times, social media, and other non-gaming platforms were going to rave about it and cause the non-gaming populous to get it. Otherwise Secret Hitler would be #1 if it was more easily accessible for retailers in the first half of 2019. Naturally many games would be much higher if we could have obtained more (Root, Everdell, Brass Birmingham, or Nemesis for example)

We only charge MSRP and do not compete with amazon. Service is more our thing, and providing a place to make those with social anxiety feel comfortable.

Hook up your PC to it for the best use

I just have a gaming laptop, and it's definitely not 4K

I would assume you can still plug your laptop in with an HDMI cable.

Some of the perks are how you don't have to switch back to cable tv assuming most shows you could "stream" from your laptop. And you could rip your blu rays as one-click files to watch.

Steam allows you to configure an xbox, ps, or switch controller to use the analog stick as a mouse as well. You can even adjust your laptop's volume with these controllers if you are feeling extra lazy.

Very big Bubble Bobble fan as a kid.

How is the completion factor for the game? Like a screen showing everything you finished, potential difficulty in 100%ing everything, etc.?

I feel like the series has a lot of potential. Possible counter-co-op with one player a weak or slower enemy. Rogue-like possibilities, different challenges to accomplish instead of just clearing enemies, etc.

I can tell a Hamill role by the scratchy voice. His voice has gotten much more grizzled over time, which I guess is a reason why he stopped going the Joker.

On a side note, I recommend the abridged audiobook of World War Z. Hamill reads the part of Todd Wanio, a grizzled veteran during the war. Great listen hearing him act out a tired man who's had enough of all this zombie crap and the people who made it worse.

"Mark Hamill is the only guy who will show up in line to see himself"

Tim Curry was originally the Joker in Batman TAS. The hunt for a new Joker wasn't because Curry was bad, it just didn't fit the style. Unfortunately this was before digital recording so we can only assume Fox destroyed the audio.

Mark Hamill planned to audition for Boyle (in arguably one if the biggest game changers in comic and kids animation history in the 90's, Heart of Ice), and never intended to get the part of the Joker. He gave a wild performance with the iconic laugh, thinking on the drive home "that's the best joker they'll ever hear, too bad they won't hire me".

Upon getting the call of getting the part of the Joker, Mark's reaction went quickly to total dread, as now he was responsible for what he felt was one of the most iconic parts in all of Batman, and felt like he could never do its character justice.

In Mark's first appearance on the Simpsons, he casually dropped that he could do other voices too, making the Simpsons staff think "oh no, what's he going to make us do". However they realized Mark was very open and friendly to suggestions. As a result he plays the body guard in the very same Simpsons episode he first guest starred in.

If you watched any show on Cartoon network or Nickelodeon in the 2000's, you probably heard his voice in over the 50 different shows he guest acted on (including The Boondocks).

So how are they compared to 360/Xbone controllers?

FPS games compared to Xbox controller: FAR Superior, no more claw grip thanks to grip buttons on Steam controller and literally any binding possible for any game despite a game's crappy options.
FPS games compared to KB and mouse: FAR inferior
Driving games: same
Platform games: I prefer an Xbox controller with a 4 way dpad (no steam controller or 8-way xbox pad)
Simulations: Steam controller by far. Planet Coaster, Sid Meier's Civ, etc.

So if you are at a desk, don't get a steam controller. If you can't use a keyboard or mouse for some reason, or want to be cuddled under blankets with snacks and family, definitely Steam controller over xbox :D

I don't see them hanging around despite their usefulness. Out of the 50+ controllers I owned in my life, I would put them on an A tier. They sold at least 1,000,000 controllers but I don't see Valve investing more into them and REALLY wish a competitor would try to top them.

Lets Go is the better option from a child development standpoint. I don't mean "7 year olds are dumb", I've just always had the opinion kids should learn to respect the classics like NES/SNES games before they get jaded from playing modern games.

Not only is it a modern remake of a classic; it has 2 player support, even if it isn't hard enough to help, it can still be a bonding experience, especially since it has the pokemon you recognize from Blue. On top of that she can pet the starter pokemon and dress it up and stuff, kids and girls love that jazz.

You'd also be voting with your dollar for what its worth, S&S are just bad. Even ignoring how many pokemon were cut, Im soooo excited about 100 different kinds of curry and gymleaders with designs just as bad as the new pokemon.

Or put FireRed/LeafGreen (GBA) on her cellphone or S/NES Classic.

Interesting how a year or two ago I recall seeing comments to skip over Let's Go games. :) I heard FireRed/LeafGreen have great fan mods and are easy to use with a controller.

From what I've seen by running Pokemon Trading Card events and volunteering at schools Pokemon is huge with first graders. I wager all of them are probably asking for sword and shield

I find it interesting Nintendo made Square change "its red, just like the color of our blood" to "its red, just like the color of rupees" in FF2, as well as changing everything "holy" to "white" weapons and items. But instruction books seem to be an exception, as the screenshot with the blood text and holy were still in the US rulebook.

So Nintendo probably was fine with a pale cheeky Link in their instructions :)

I run kids groups and used to help my store with D&D events.

If you are looking for D&D stuff near you, you can either google maps search "dungeons and dragons", "magic the gathering" or "board games" and you'll find locations near you. Checking your local libraries will also lead to events.

The biggest turn away for many people though is fear of the environment. Fortunately many D&D groups are welcome of newcomers in public places. Normally you can tell very quickly how friendly the group will be, mainly if they invite you in to play :)

I am not sure how its regarded today, but in the mid 90's this was the flagship "citizen kane" anime at the time.

You solved a mystery giving you the illusion you did it all yourself.

Compared to say L.A. Noire, which is another good mystery, but its more like reading a novel or watching LA Confidential as you eventually are lead to solutions despite your actions, and you feel like the game is holding your hand to guide you.

LA Noire didn't scratch that itch for deduction or those EUREKA I'M A GENIUS moments.

Its the same kind of feeling you get when you beat the hardest boss in Dark Souls. Just that pure release of endorphins knowing you are the greatest.
