Thoughtcrime! etc." Internet has a big role in this. I have seen people here saying that Muslims and Middle Eastern people are "invading" their countries. That's how badly they have been brainwashed with the "white genocide" crap. Even most seemingly left-leaning outlets like BBC and The Guardian indirectly fuel this by repeatedly posting articles (mainly focused on anything related to race or religion) that they know will piss off even a person who has no interest in politics and turn him into a complete racist. This is also why everyone has political views these days, even kids, who'd have found politics to be bland and boring in the past, now take keen interest in it. Most of the people who voted for Trump did it out of emotional reasons and not because they think he would make a better leader. Also, having a right-wing government in power makes it easier for US to get involved in wars around the Middle East to fulfill their ulterior motives. |

On the indie front there is also I would not say it's the best stealth game this gen, strictly speaking from a gameplay perspective and not factoring in the other issues that plague the game (like voice acting, average graphics, clunky movement), which makes it even worse. Each chapter is very similar to the other. The diverse locations don't add much to the level design. You can assassinate your targets in multiple different ways but the problem is that the game never forces you to be creative and whenever I felt like trying something new, I always ended up knocking them out or using my fiber wire or shooting them because it's just easier that way. The A.I. is also pretty dumb. And I was actually a fan of the first Hitman game but I never liked any of the other titles released afterwards. Just felt like more of the same. Dishonored 2 is the best stealth game this gen and it is also a very underrated game imo. |
